According to the most recent updates from Manhattan Bird Alert, Flaco was lurking at an apartment on the Upper East Side, but was seen hunting near the Central Park Reservoir late this afternoon.

He must like the taste of the rat population near Central Park and/or the Upper East Side is much more tranquil!

We're not having yams today so Chewie will be deprived. But she's so spoiled now maybe she won't miss them.

Her poodle heritage is really coming out. She has started dancing & hopping on her back legs like a circus dog. Each time she stays up on her hind legs longer & longer. We didn't teach this but we do praise her because she looks so cute. I'll have to get her a tutu.

I had a chicken as a pet in the early 60's, way before they became popular. My cousin was a biologist at the University of Michigan , doing her graduate studies and brought home chicks for her cousins. We trained her to stay in the kitchen and the other areas that had linoleum and she used to come when called. She was very socisl and liked to hang with us. We thought she was a rooster until she laid an egg one day!
