Update #6: The tiger twosome have graduated from the nursery and are now at the Tiger Trail full time!

Update #7: The SD tiger twosome now have names!

Bengal “Rescue Cub”: Moka - meaning “chance”
Sumatran “DC Cub”: Rakan - meaning “friend”

it’s insane that they are getting this big this fast! It also makes me that the rescue cub was being trafficked across the U.S./Mexico border to (probably) be sold as a pet. Looks at how large their claws were - as cubs!

If anyone is following the CIA, they have been doing a series on their K9 training.

Tomorrow, they will be showing their newest “recruit”. I’m guessing that they always use purebred Labs.

But I’ve always hoped that this was the case - What happens to puppy recruits when they’re not a fit for the CIA. I’m glad Lulu was adopted by her handler and that the CIA (& other agencies) understand what’s best for the dogs.

UPDATE: Three of the puppies have graduated and three dogs have retired in this special ceremony.

Apparently, ”Suni” couldn’t finish the program because the trainer had to stop for personal reasons. Suni was returned to her original family and adopted.

The retiring dogs are being adopted by their handlers - who will be getting one of the new puppies.

Proud of the puppies and the dogs who have served!

The burros in Custer State Park(South Dakota) have been badly injured in the wildfire that has been burning in the park.
