I have to give the CFSA a lot of credit for not hanging onto those spots until the last minute, but instead releasing them so that the pairs fields can be properly filled. I also appreciate that they're getting their ice dance teams out to compete internationally.Yes and yes.
Commenters are saying the report says she was taking a diuretic. Absolutely nuts. Agree with the folks there who are saying "she's thin enough and didn't need to take this!" And absolutely horrified at the very real health concerns posed with taking these drugs. Good for the Chinese fans who are just as aghast as anyone in the West would be.Huh, so Zhang/Jia seems like they're out because Zhang doped.
Nothing new yet, only it will be held in Jilin from 13th to 15th Nov.Can someone post info/links for Chinese Junior Nationals that happening this coming week? Thanks in advance!
That's a shame.Yang/Deng have withdrawn from COC

Men's SP starts in a few minutes. Good luck.
I wonder what she's thinking. That's all I have. There is a rumor saying that Sui had a trial with Li Ze'en, Sun’s former partner, but it ended up so funny as Sui, at the end of the day, had to be his personal coach for a day to teach him the basic skating skills as he is just so bad technically in all way and he barely lifted Sui.
I actually really wouldn't say so, even if I think his basic skating is great and deserves more credit. I don't think he's a good performer as such, and the choreo is very bland. Still, I'm sure if he had more rep, the PCS would be higher.(The components score is a crime)
Why didn’t she skate with Jin if he wanted to continue? It might be hard for some athletes, after winning such an important competition in their career, to transition from one position to another, as they are deeply accustomed to the athlete's lifestyle and schedule. I am not against the idea of coming back if you truly have a drive to achieve more. But what bothers me most is that Sui, this time, doesn't have a clear plan of planning her comeback: At first, I didn't believe there were not any pair men in China for Sui to team up with, as we all know that Yang, after breaking up with Peng, did ask Sui to skate with him. I also didn't believe that Han strings Sui along to let her believe they still have a chance to compete again. Han did issue his statement pretty early and every Sui/Han fan knows that Han didn't want to continue if he won gold in Pyeongchang. Even the Chinese Fed doesn't hold any hopes for them even though the current status of Chinese Pair Skating is hopeless because she has to pay for him to skate with her without any funds from the Fed(OH GURL....).
We don't know? I don't think anyone can really make head or tail of this decision. Why didn’t she skate with Jin if he wanted to continue?
