The 90s RD is so fun and so many teams put in sooo much work towards their programs

Yearly mentioning of Shilling and I having the same coaching team nearly 20 years ago now and we had our lessons back-to-back twice a week.

She was ~11 landing double Axels and close on a few triples, I was 21ish throwing myself into the air.. trying.. to do a 2A.

As a late 90s club kid, I've liked a lot of it. However, there is also a lot missing that could have been used.

Well, Ivanitskiy looked like she was having the time of her life, which, good for her. Obviously they know this is the only program they'll be skating here (and maybe ever at Euros) so might as well enjoy the hell out of it.

A lot of two foot skating in the program even in the midline and pattern dance sequences. Performance was a bit flat, and not as energetic as the music.

Said that, I notice, the less a couple does the "90ies" and more just skates to a random 90ies piece, the less cringy it is.
