That random slide across the ice in the choreo sequence serves absolutely no purpose, IMO, but I like this program a million times more than last season's crap.

Nice change of theme for Kaori but I agree it doesn’t play off to her strengths as well so it’s less impactful than some of her past LPs.

This program is not doing it for me. Kind of bleh... She also looks a little winded and not in top form.

I think this is a better program in the first half than the second, but maybe it will get better as the season goes on

Fair point. I mean, it is Audrey and until she dumps Tammy fully and relocates to Virginia, I shouldn't let myself be too annoyed by any result she has.

Oh, and Xfinity had the nerve to text us poor folks about their outage 20 min after it occurred to reassure us they're doing their best to fix it and they estimate it will be restored by 6:15pm. Mmmmhmmmm... I bet. As long as it's back by 10:15pm for the JGP FD, I'll be fine.

..and I mentioned that. But Shin is notorious for not rotating most if not all of her triples and today it didn’t look any different so I’m not really baffled like some others seem to be.

Love Kaori but this seems quite bland for her, both her programs this year are following the traditional "ladylike softness and poise" of so many, longer hair and all, and I'm disappointed. Oh well.

If Miclette had managed to do that second triple flip in combination she'd have had the worlds TES minimums and a silver medal likely. Though I'm shocked she didn't get an edge call on her lutz, which has often been called "e" in the past.

Yeah, I miss Matrix Kaori. I still adore her skating skills but I’m hoping maybe next season she’ll do a different style.
