Melissa McCarthy is a comedic actress and I think she gave the best presentation after Tina, Amy, and Maya. I think she LOVED doing that bit. It was so category appropriate too. If you watched The Favourite, you would have been laughing off your chair.

Jhud’s dress was an homage to Ruth Bader Ginsberg who is a judge and was a powerful feminist.

She seemed like she couldn’t get her breath the entire song.

The song was way too shouy and lacked nuance and finesse. Some her fault, some how it was written.

I liked JHud's oufit. There's no chance that song is going to win, but I'm pretty sure Diane Warren knows that. She's been nominated a gazillion times and always loses. Plus, there's no way that anything other than "Shallow" will win given how integrated into the film it is and how well it's done at other awards. And, there might have been a "little bit" of campaigning, promo, and hype for "A Star is Born".
