YES!!!!! :biggrinbo Sorry NPH, but this coming Tuesday at 10 PM is really gonna be the best time ever for me! It's finally time to move your lame show out of my show's time slot. Welcome back Chicago Fire!!! :cheer: :cheer2: :cheer: :cheer2:

/pardon my excitement...it's been a long wait for CF to come back! :yikes:

^^ I just wish they ran repeats all summer like they used to back in the day. I forget where the storyline ended up!. Yeah yeah I know you can watch it online, On Demand, blah blah blah. But for some reason I don't have the attention span to do that versus knowing I must watch something on a specific day and time. :P

Ended with Casey's disappearance and Dawson suspecting she was pregnant.

I watched the Fargo season premier tonight. At first I was annoyed that it is set in 1979 (not sure why) and then I had the revelation that this is the story of Molly's dad! I wonder if the producers and writers had that in mind during the first season when writing his character? Oh, and I can't believe I recognized Landry from FNL! He looks so different.

I'm really liking The Grinder. It is funny in a quirky/sarcastic kind of way. It has been a while since I've watched a comedy I actually laughed out loud while watching.

So many bad pilots! If I didn't give these shows another chance there would be nothing left for me to watch at all. There were so many plot holes in Blindspot that I had to close my eyes. Agree with others' opinion that the male lead is somewhat wooden. He actually reminds me of what's-his-face- O'Laughlin of Hawaii Five-O, the worst actor on that show and the supposed lead. I hardly ever watch that show. If I do I listen to the theme music and concentrate on the secondary characters who can actually act.

Limitless has my attention because I find it actually fairly comedic. The lead here appears not to take himself so seriously. It has an entirely different vibe than the movie. Rosewood had a terrible pilot, with our lead sharing way too much personal information with someone he has just met and he just seemed to be trying too hard the whole episode. The second and third episodes were much better so I haven't given up yet. Minority Report also much different from the movie and I'm not sure yet whether I will continue to watch.

Code Black needs time to develop the characters more. MGH's character is still too one-dimensional. The show has a lot of characters they are trying to introduce and it will definitely take time with the choppy format, but the chaos is supposed to be the whole point of the show so I will give it time, if the network does.

I have no doubt whichever shows I like best will be the ones that get cancelled, as per usual. NPH's show definitely deserves cancellation imo, so it probably won't happen. I'm thinking he probably had a deal with a guaranteed run. Perhaps it will morph into something marginally better, given enough time.

Someone mentioned Saving Hope. Indeed it is still running in Canada and imo has matured a great deal. The "I talk to ghosts" part of the story seems to be taking a bit of a back seat to the overall medical and relationship story lines and imo has made this a better show.

Space has recently started showing Person of Interest daily from the beginning and it has made me even more nostalgic for the number of the week format as opposed to the convoluted grand conspiracies. Nonetheless, I will be sad to see the series end after a short final season.

Lots of new shows this year that I don't have the slightest interest in even checking out, but probably for the best.

I like Limitless too. Kind of silly. Never saw the movie.

The first episode of Rosewood, I had trouble understanding the dialogue. It's like they were all mumbling away from the microphone. I DVR'd the last two (?) that I haven't watched yet.

I didn't like the second episode of The Muppets, but I did like the third one. I guess I'll stick with it.

I watched the first episode of The Grinder. I've forgotten to watch any since.....

I watched the first episode of Code Black. Have switched over to watching Chicago PD since.

Saving Hope? The doctor who was in a coma and talked to people who were dying in the hallway? Major confusement here! I saw a commercial on ION that said it was an ION original series. But the "original date"s listed are in 2012. The cable guide says it's Season 1. I remember watching and liking it, back in 2012?, and never saw it anywhere again. We-ird.

I posted this earlier -

As far as I can tell Saving Hope has been running in Canada - this will be the 4th season. It was on NBC a couple of years ago and got cancelled pretty early. It looks like ION is starting with the original season, although I can't tell for sure - http://www.iontelevision.com/show/saving-hope

Looks like they really are starting from the beginning.

Limitless had been way down on my to-see list but after reading so many positive comments I'll give it a try. But since it's available for the whole season On Demand (and I've yet to figure out the formula for which shows are available for months and which ones disappear after a couple of weeks), I'll wait for a while until I've caught up on some other stuff and emptied my PVR a bit -- it's about 65% full and skating season hasn't started yet!

I gave up on Blindspot and Code Black, just not enough there to hold my attention. Quantico is on the bubble after the 2 episodes I've seen so far: it seems a bit like How to Get Away with Murder in its format but there's enough there for now to keep me interested.

Muppets isn't quite as good as I thought it would be from the trailer, but still more than enough to keep me entertained. I'm sticking with it.

And I'm really loving an English comedy that just started up on CBC: Raised by Wolves. The dialogue is highly improbable, particularly from the eldest (?) daughter, but I find it LOL funny every time.

Limitless is doing such a good job from moving from cop drama to fantasy comedy to political thriller. How the director(s) can move back and forth so easily is very inspring! :respec:

I guess I'm in the minority but Code Black is growing on me. I'm not a medical show person usually, but I'm liking the building of the characters, brick by brick.

I caught a few minutes of it last night. Reminded me that I posted on here somewhere about the blue streak of light that runs across the screen even when the coma guy is not in the picture. Still gives me a headache.
