From today's email from the organizer:

If you are planning to attend practices, they will scan your first event ticket with your practice pass and give you a wristband at the entrance. The wristband will allow you to stay in the building for the first event of the day.

So it seems that if you buy the practice pass, you may also need to buy the first event of the same day to enter the building (except Tuesday?).

No, it’s saying the opposite. They are giving a wristband to those who have tickets for both practice and then the first event.

There won’t be many people who only have practice passes, though, since they were only part of the all-event ticket and could only be purchased if someone with said ticket was willing to sell them separately.

I think it depends on how you interpret "they will scan your first event ticket with your practice pass."

When you show them your practice pass, they are also pretty likely to ask you to show them the next event ticket so that they can give you the wristband, which I think is not an option, but a process for everyone who attends practice. What will they say if you tell them I only have a practice pass for that day? I don't know. Anyway, we will find out in 2 weeks.

Well then what would be the point of the wristband then? Because if we were to believe spectators had to have tickets for both, then there would be no need to differentiate them with such because they would, in theory, just not let them in.

Now I don't know how they are going to go analyze every last wristband between practice and the competition if people don't need to physically leave the arena, but here we are.

I think they need to allow for folks who purchased all event tix, then sold a few individual sessions. If I have both tix on MY phone, I get a wristband. If I don’t, no wristband.

Exactly what I suggested in the first reply. ;) The belief up a few posts was that everyone would have to have competition tickets if they wanted to see the practices, to which cannot be the case.

Hi all,

Just a shot in the dark…but considering Boston Worlds as a “last minute” possibility at this point. Starting to look around for the potential availability of:

Ladies FS (1st priority; will consider others below once secured, OR as a bundle)
Ladies SP
Practice Pass

Loge area seating strongly preferred (first 10-12 rows if available); long sides/center ice preferred.

Thanks very much in advance!

Sounds like everything is digital this time? I remember in 2016 there were still primarily paper tickets.

Now I see your logic. My question comes from the statement on the official website: "Admission to the practice sessions at TD Garden is only with a (reusable) practice pass that is sold as part of an All-Event ticket. Practice passes will not be sold individually." And then they are OK to let people only buy the practice passes (which do not even have sales price) and watch the practice.

That said, it is better not to waste unused tickets, so I am fine with people selling/buying practice passes. That is not my point. My point is that the way they handle this is too confusing. I think the organizer should have sold practice passes separately if they could let people in just for practice - just like they did for the 2003 Worlds in DC.

I may be selling my all event loge 14 row 4 ticket due to a family emergency. I’m still holding out hope that I can go but not too optimistic.

I have 1 all-event ticket available for Boston Worlds. Does not include gala. Does include practices (of course).
Loge 7, Row 11, seat 10.
Looking to get what we paid, but will consider all offers. Right now I am not interested in breaking up the tickets.
PM me or trinajpl .

If it is of interest, you will be sitting with a small group of long-time skating fans - fun ladies who know their stuff.

I'm interested in this if RD isn't - feel free to PM me with details.

I would be if it becomes available and they are willing to split the package for the events I listed above…but if not, and it is sold in full only, I would then have to withdraw my interest as I do not want the other events.

All that being said, I hope your situation works out and you are able to go.

I would like to buy your practice pass if you are selling tickets separately.

The person who said they wanted the ticket package backed out on me and bought from someone else. So the package is available again. Will sell events separately.
