CalMag - girl needs to use stronger hairspray to shellack those wispies on the back of her neck to the back of her head. SBS 3s - down she goes & he also put his hand down; 3tw - fine; throw 3lo - slooow entry & she put her hands down lightly on the landing; lift - alright but her platter position was practically a 45 degree angle to the ice; BODS - good; step seq - slow as the music; SBS spins - meh.

I'd like to think they may have a Conti/Macii-like trajectory should they get more competitive opportunities in the next Olympic cycle, but they've had plenty this cycle and just haven't gotten better at all.

I missed Izzo/Maierhofer but I'm back and "presentable." A bit of a rough go for the Italians but a good recovery.
Now, to settle in with a fresh coffee. I DO still have the slippers though ... and the throw ... so all is good.

FauBelle - I'm rooting for them to beat Les Kovs here this week. 3tw - alright; SBS 3s - and she falls; I jinxed them; throw 3s - huge, very nice; lift - alright, better position than Caldara; BODS - fine; step seq - their speed does not match the beat of the music & it annoys, though they do both seem to be into it; SBS spins - unison, why bother, oh, they got it together for the last position.

the pcs so far range from 24. 28 to 24.65 - that is a bit laughable - there were quite a few difference in the quality of skating betwwen the five pairs. I so wish, PCS would finally be really used....

That French team should be imprisoned with Arribert all summer to learn edges and how to move on the ice.

How can a country with so many fine ice dancers have such clunky pairs?

Good Heavens .... only 3 more pairs and they are going to clean the ice again. I wish I had my own mini zamboni driver to come in and clean my floors. I wouldn' require it done anywhere nearly as frequently.

Camille Kovalev's shoulder is all taped up. I remember when she dislocated it during a competition. I hope it will be ok today.

Pair skating is my favorite discipline....when it's fast, difficult and exciting. Lower level pairs is none of the above.
