Chinese skating news & social media updates pt. 5, 2023 onwards

Wang/Liu won the comp, but I'm seeing comments indicating they were just bad. Fingers crossed they won't qualify a spot for Milan.

JGP selctions for junior pairs concluded with no surprises (there were a couple of new entries that eventually withdrew), so the same four junior pairs are expected to get 2 JGPs each.

Zhang/Feng
Guo/Zhang
Chen/Dong*
Hu/Wang*

*New team debuting this season

Very excited for Guo/Zhang to finally make their JGP debut, they had a pretty good SP at the Beijing stage:

Zhang/Feng appears to be struggling with some injuries and not hitting their levels on lifts, which is concerning as there's less than 2 weeks before JGP Riga.

Too many to post, but if anyone's interested, this channel has them all (or so it seems anyway).

W/L FD: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1LAtyzTE86/ (If they skate like this, they'd be lucky to cross 150 internationally IMO)

Peng Zhiming is the third entry for China at CoC men's 2025.

ETA: OK, never mind, seems unofficial still? But huahua said it for w/e it's worth.

@Karen-W Wang/Liu 191 total lol. People dragging them to hell and beyond.
