It says that :

- Mrs Noury recognizes she was meant to be a puppet at first

- there was a toxic ambiance within the FFSG and that Gailhaguet had the people to force the decisions, that there were pressures that went too far.

- Gailhaguet wanted the hand on anything of international level because she was a nobody. He got an FFSG accreditation in Italy without her approval, then he barely got one from a vote from the Bureau Exécutif for Saitama and that upset him so he renounced.

- during Jr synchro Worlds in Angers, while everyone was there, somebody broke into her office (who had the key of the intact front door of the fed)

- Gailhaguet didn't want to hear about Sarah Abitol, didn't want a rink in Bourges to be named after her and he wanted the fed to pay an hommage to Gilles Beyer (Sarah's rapist) after his death. Sarah now has a position inside the fed.



But there is another article with 2 very juicy bits, on RMC Sports

- Gailhaguet lied about his age for his FFSG card. He pretends to be 69 while he's 70, hence ineligible within the fed as this rule was voted under Nathalie's presidency.

- During the 2022 OG, Gailhaguet called some judges to convince them to place Papadakis Cizeron 2nd.
So there would be no french olympic gold outside of his tutelage (that soooo fits his mindset).
Something around the lines "Be careful, if you're the only one to put the french in 1st, you'll be accused of playing favourites"
The journalist called people and nobody denied this story.

So what is the situation exactly like right now.

Mrs Noury has gotten rid of the figure skating people of the Bureau Executif, thanks to a vote of the Conseil Fédéral.
(the speed skating side is intact)
She should soon propose new names to the vote of the Conseil Fédéral and get a Bureau Exécutif and a Conseil Fédéral on her side.


BUT ...


the president can be revoked by the Conseil Fédéral (not probable) or by a vote of the General Assembly (next is in June) that will happen if 1/3 of the clubs ask for a removal.
So you can now count on Gailhaguet calling all the clubs' presidents to rally them against Mrs Noury.
The General Assembly in June is sure to be VERY rough.
Probable arguments :
  • she sucks
  • she knows nothing about our sports (which is why you elected her 12 months ago)
  • she wants to keep the power (lol)
  • she's only after her own survival (lol)
  • how dare she to dissmiss people truly passionate about the sport ?
  • how dare she to get rid of Brian Joubert ?
  • maybe some others below the belt

My prediction : Gailhaguet won't be at the forefront of this attack
I would expect Joubert (or Maman Joubert) to be the "offended and sacked" poster of this campaign

That's an internalized totalitarian regime. A 25 years zombification process.

If you're a parent of a skater, you'll submit as you want your child to succeed / to not be harmed.
If you're a coach, you'll submit as you can be promoted or broken.
If you resist, stuff will happen

25 years of this regime and that is so internalized that people bend to Gailhaguet's will, by gratitude, by conviction of Gailhaguet's permanence and will of power, by fear, by mimetism

That's why the FFSG is toxic. Gailhaguet needs it to be as toxic as possible to be the one who can give access to breathable air.

Having had a lot of first hand dealings with him, I can confirm he has no limits!
 
During Worlds in Saïtama, FFSG asked my photographer if they could use some of her pictures. She answered yes, but it was not free. We never heard from FFSG again and they just helped themselves. They did not simply share some of her pictures, they posted them on their social networks as if it was theirs and copyright free, but they are so clumsy you could see part of the watermarks they hadn't been able to erase. Much worse: they used one of her pictures IN PRINT for the French tour official program. We of course made a very formal complain. And of course got no reply. During French tour, my photographer (and my main reporter) got credentials for one of the shows. Gweanëlle Noury was there and they went directly up to her. She said she didn't know about the pictures stealing but could imagine very well whose fault it was. Right in front of my two reps, and to their dismay, she started discussing, with another FFSG member, other wrong doings said person had done. To sum things up, she offered a polite apology and blamed someone else. My girls answered that an apology was nice but that their intern problems weren't our concern and that our pictures had a price and copyright laws had been severely infringed. The answer was more than vague and embarrassed. "Yes, but, well, let's see what we can do, we'll talk about it and let you know". We're not holding our breath. But we will not let go. An official invoice is on its way and it better be paid. They know perfectly well who we are, just as Gailhaguet and Péchalat knew before Noury. Gailhaguet heard of the stolen pictures (how, we have no idea) and offered us his help (that's when we realize something was really off between him and Noury). We declined but it shows how things work for him. He uses anything he can. The whole thing also tells a lot about the people in power's state of mind : You don't want to give us your pictures for free? GFY, we'll use them anyway. What? You're making waves you little worms? OK we profusely apologize. It's X's fault, s/he is incompetent. Take that and buzz off. No? What do you mean, no??!

Us : Now let's talk $$$. Oops we obviously said the killing word, where is everybody gone? It seems FFSG always attract the same kind of rotten people. They didn't expect us to lift a finger I guess. And we actually raised a fist, o surprise! We're not talking about FS fans using one of our pix on their SN without permission. But of sport federation. an OFFICIAL body approved (until further notice...) by the Ministry of sports, hence the government. And they printed a stolen photo on thousands of official flyers distributed all over the country. We could not believe our own eyes. And when the girls met Noury they couldn't believe their own ears. She and her entourage were just washing the FFSG dirty laundry right under their nose. Wish us luck but we will certainly not let it rest. One of my closest friends is a lawyer specialized in intellectual property and she'll help us pro bono. And just in case FFSG had the bad idea to deny us credentials in the future, well, the whole photo mess would be on the Ministry of sports desk within hours. As rotten as they are, they know that any little crap added to their already heavily loaded file can make them topple over. We will all have a fun summer I think 😈

On the 6th of June, there will be a emergency judgement to say if the 6 members of the Bureau Exécutif of the FFSG have been illegally excluded.
On the 17th, there will be the (ordinary) General Assembly of the FFSG.

That could be extremely rocky. One of Gailhaguet's goals might be to gather 1/3rd of the clubs to ask for an extraordinary General Assembly to vote the revocation of the current president.

Looking at the JGP's slots, France has
6 for boys
6 for girls
8 for pairs
7 for dance couples

So who is likely to go ?
Boys
François Pitot (Fribourg SUI) has one more season to go in junior. He may also have an opening for the 3rd sport of the Trophée de France. I'm on the fence about him. It depends on which olympics he's mainly aiming at.
Jean Médard (Poitiers) has two
Axel Ahmed (Courbevoie) has one
I think Ilia Gogitidze (Annecy) and Gianni Motilla (Reims) have good chances to be in next season.

Girls
Lorine Schild (Reims) has one more season but for me, it's obvious she should go sénior. But so far, the FFSG has used every pretext to keep her in junior so I wouldn't bet on anything
Lola Ghozali (Reims) should go.
Eve Dubecq (Reims) maybe
But my hopes are on Stefania Gladki (Nice). But I do remember how the FFSG does ruin its best girls, one by one so ... crossing fingers for keeping her in good health and having a well-handled growth spurt.

Pairs
Vouillamoz/Giniaux (Caen) are aging out.
Erhardt / Pellegris (Champigny) have one more season
Clélia Liget-Ligatus / Noah Quezada Grau (Caen), nah she's a month too young. Too bad.
Romane Télémaque / Lucas Coulon (Dammary) should be good to go.

Dance
Fradji/Fourneaux (Villard) should stay for one last year. Not sure if that's a good idea or not. I would vote for "no", go to senior and push Lagouge /Caffa to the side. As long as Papadakis / Cizeron are not coming back, there is room for them.
Bordet/Gipouloux (Villard) have 2 seasons ahead
Perrier-Giannesini / Blanc (Lyon) have 2
Seclet-Monchot/Chardain (Reims) are aging out
Dania Mouaden / Théo Bigot (Chalons en Champagne) are now eligible
So are Léa Hienne / Baptiste Ferrand (Villard) who are very new together but have a lovely chemistry,
Sarah Marcilly-Vasquez / Jolan Engel (Fontenay)
Alexandra Balyan / Maël Quinquis (Viry)
Hopefully Louis Duprat/Taddei Dugue (Vitry) are too young.

I do want to see Eva Bernard / Amedeo Bonetto (Villard) in the JGP next season, maybe not for France. I like them veeeery much, which is why I want them for Italy (the same way Charlene did). If it's for France, so be it but ...
I know I'm gonna be sobbing in a corner in the coming seasons. It's gonna be a bloodbath. :wuzrobbed

I hope there will be plenty of slots untaken during the JGPs this season, so they all have room to grow and breathe for a few seasons.

Disagree @Nmsis about Fradji/Forneaux going senior this coming season. There's a lot of room for them to do well on the JGP, possibly medal at the JGPF and Jr Worlds - likely competition will come from Neset/Markelov, Grimm/Savitskiy, Carhart/Horovyi and the Hauers. I'd put my money on them being very competitive with those last two for bronze. It won't hurt them to use their last junior season and move up to seniors in 2024 and will make them an even stronger bet to push aside Lagouge/Caffa and possibly Dupayage/Nabais too.
 
Normally,I would agree with your POV, Karen-W and Dobre.
It would be better for them to take the time to grow in junior.

But next season, it's the opening of Survivor.
The last time, only Charlene and Tiffany survived and only by jumping on another ship before the collision.
I want Celina and Jean-Hans to survive. :wuzrobbed

Of course, even trains can derail and F/F might have one more "safe" year. But I wouldn't bet on that.
I just trust Karine Arribert to give them programs that fit them more and more as they have now grown a personality after 3 years in Villard.
Anyway, everything should become crystal clear by next season. :cold:

She does a lot of great choreography. Last year's FD selection was a miss, but it's rare she misses twice, I think.

Additionally, they'd lose out on decent prize money they're all but certain to earn by staying on the JGP this coming season and they're not going to be in the mix for any GP assignments as they're #46 on the SB list. It makes zero sense to move up this season and I would like to believe that Karine Arribert realizes this.

It wasn't a miss IMHO. It was a development tool. Musics of the World are part of a development program that Arribert's dancers go through. Like in the old russian days when dancers had a program cycle such as a hungarian dance program then a musical, then a classical program then a waltz then a tango and so on. She just reinvented the cursus. Plus Fourneaux Fradji got the "music used in last year's Villard's ballet" program, the same way Demougeot Lemercier had a Carmen program in 2019-2020, a theme they had worked in ballet the previous year, which allow them a long term work on musicality and how to work and relate to a music.

Fradji/Fourneaux arrived in Villard in 2020. They were bland and didn't relate to their music and with the audience. In this year's RD, their progress in that regard are so visible. Even in the FD. Same with the FD armography. Armography is all about widening their range of movement. That's what Arribert wanted when she invented the Bollywood programs years ago. Bollywood becoming a little too repetitive, she switched to "Assassin's Creed Egypt" instead last season. Seems less legit but it has the same purpose. And in a few years, people will be used to it and nobody will notice.

It's about wonder babies.
Not the tame kind like PapCiz were around 2010-2011 (when french dancers knew, but didn't know the time frame they would have)

Arribert is very concerned about having dancers who don't lose their confidence in themselves.
Her first ice dance couple in high level ice dance experienced that. They were different (with musics, programs, costumes) and for that, they were casted aside by the FFSG, by the ISU to the point of losing confidence in themselves, losing any trust in their sport and the people surrounding their sport.
That was a traumatic experience. (it was kind of hearbreaking, listening to Zoé Blanc in Villard's covid video)
Since she came back to the high level, Arribert has been very careful about the way she manages her dancers' career.
18-19 yo trounced by 13-14 yo is not a way to build their confidence.
If she wants F/F to survive junior, she'll have to make them fully bloom, as babies will still suffer from being babies next season.
I'm sure Arribert realizes that, because she's fully aware of what is coming.
And she also knows senior will be the safe place until 2027.

He apparently broke his leg at the begining of the season. And he had a growth spurt. They only entered the french novice championships in april. (They were initially scheduled for several international novice compétitions and several Tournois de France)

I loved Mathilde Grandin / Martin Chardain.
They were one of Barbara Piton's greatest baby couples before the dawning of Mouaden /Bigot, and after the first baby couple of hers I noticed, Lila-Maya Seclet Monchot / Adrien Masseron.

I actually never understood why Lila-Maya Seclet Monchot and Martin Chardain decided to split their partnerships to skate together. It never worked. :shuffle:
