Was there a reason why Kevin didn`t try quads in the FS? Is he injured?
Kevin has a new medical appointment on Monday (after countless prior ones) to have his ankle checked again. Doctors can't find what's wrong and he is still in pain all the time. He'd have tried a quad if it was necessary to beat Adam but it was really not and he is careful not to damage his ankle any further. He bowed out of the gala tomorrow to stay on the safe side. He wants to go to Milano so it's indeed safer not to take any risk when he doesn't need to.

My parents stopped over during the men's free and it was their first time seeing Kevin's Bolero. His performance was wonderful, and BOTH of my parents are planning to watch him during the Olympics (Mom I expected, but Dad was also really entranced by him). I suspected there was still something going on injury wise based on the jump layout, so glad to hear that he's playing it safe.
