I quite liked it and thought they were very tight and can see why they are in first - personal feelings aside.

Fournier Beaudry & Cizeron's Rhythm Dance is still on Youtube as of right now.

I thought they looked good (certainly better than the other teams). It's early in the season, but they looked not quite comfortable with each other yet.

The voguing could be sprinkled more throughout the program as they go in and out of elements. I really loved the curve lift. The last section to Personal Jesus I think needs some revamping. I feel like it doesn't build to anything, it just kind of continues and then ends.

Bordet/Chardain had a lovely first half to my favorite piece, the second movement of Beethoven's 7th Symphony. Unfortunately, the abrupt cut to "I Wanna Be Your Slave" did not work AT ALL.

Just the idea of that made me have to go and watch it, and it made even LESS sense than I could possibly imagine. A nonsensical chainsaw-edit for the ages.

Meh. Dupayage and Nabais have potential to be so so so good but it seems international panels have already dumped them permanently below two skaters coming up who are very weak skills-wise. This program did NOT move out of center ice for a minute and 30 seconds basically. Just lifts and spins.

His posture is brilliant.

SOS I feel like Karine has really lost her way the last few seasons after constantly putting out bangers.

I was at breakfast with the family, so I had the sound turned down, but Marie and Thomas skate beautifully. Their lifts are gorgeous, and so are their costumes. If only they could get their twizzles straightened out ...

It's interesting you say that about their ice coverage, @tony, because it was actually really good in the RD. I remember remarking on it.

Dumpage continues for both of these teams. D/N PCS below 8, extended lift and lost levels everywhere, Fradji and Forneaux PCS miserable too.

I don’t really see what any judging panel sees in Caffa besides that he’s pretty. His basics are mediocre at absolute best and everything is done so tentatively. His being so tall always has him shrugging his shoulders and hunching over, too. The program composition is pleasant enough but they move in slow motion without deep, into the ice crunchy edges.

That character step was so half-hearted and clumsy looking, even. Just don’t get it.

Insane scoring but I don’t expect anything less. See them at the French GP, I guess.

Loicia and Theo, my favorite FD a few seasons ago and now I feel like I’m watching the same elements thrown into a different order year after year. That cartwheel entrance into the straight line lift literally has been in every FD in some capacity.

Really SOS Karine. This team obviously being the likely to have been stopped in their tracks for an Olympic run and I don’t know what it did or didn’t do to their motivation, but this isn’t doing it for me either.

I had a long night of work just before this free dance and maybe I’m too tired but all of these teams are just handing judges the fuel to boost FB/C up to the very top.

I do not understand anything about this program nor the most of the choreography. GENERIC.

I don't know about this program for Lop/Bri. Feels like they're trying to take what they did in the old Rach FD and put it to more contemporary music, and it's not working.

I was excited based on the music pick, but this is a missed opportunity. WHy spend two minutes plus on the most boring Bjork cuts? Why not open with Bachelorette, use All is Full of Love in the midsection, then finish with something like Play Dead? Meh.

L/B's music choices looked much more daring than their choreo ended up looking. And yes they are opening that door wide open to let FBC overtake them as #1.

Björk is not easy music to skate to and sadly L/B are not up to the task.
