I don't want to get into the movie thread, so since this has been on t.v., has anybody seen the Lady Gaga A Star Is Born? It's 3 hours long, so I DVRd it and I'm watching it in pieces. I am reciting the Barbra Streisand/Kris Kristofferson lines. (He gets in the car after the concert and I said <driver> "where to", <John Norman> "back about 10 years".) hee hee And I have Queen Bee stuck in my head. I wish I could play my album.

Anyone watch Good Girls? Love love LOVE this show!! Anyway, if you do refresh my memory .... is the hitman Beth hired legit or is he just scamming her? For some reason I think he is just scamming her/taking her money and I don't know why I think that. Is he just scamming her and 'pretending' he is a hit man?

Watched the first three episodes of Debris and never thought I would ever say this about a fantasy/sci-fi show, but this thing is BORING! Plus the whole idea that these pieces of space craft can do anything just isn’t doing it for me. Too many eye roll moments. 👎

I did not realize this but Resident Alien is available on Peacock and was releasing the new episodes weekly. Going to catch up and keep an eye out for season 2. :watch:

We've been DVRing it but if it's on Peacock, I guess that was unnecessary.

Who were the 5 people Sandra circled. Kept having weather break in. Will have to watch again on demand. What is Garrett doing in future part.

Sandra, Marcus and Justine, for sure. Lou and Shannon? Not sure who they are (and they were not seen in the fulfillment centre scene), maybe some of the silent extras on the show? I would have chosen Brett and Sayid. Janet, Nia, the bald guy (name?) could have been chosen too.

We don’t know what Garrett is up to, besides being in a happy relationship with Dina.

Have either of you caught up with The Masked Singer? Anxious to get your reaction. :)

Also I thought through how Raccoon made it through last time. It most likely was due to Kermit being the first elimination. I can't imagine the puppeteers really wanted to be cramped even more in a costume to do another show. I think Raccoon just got lucky to be on with the frog.

I also loved the Superstore finale - well done! I'm sure going to miss those characters. I hear there may be a Cheyenne and Bo spinoff though to me they would not work so well as lead characters, esp. Bo ha ha. So many of my favorite sitcoms have now left in the last year or two (Superstore, The Good Place, Modern Family, Schitt's Creek).

I still think that Russian Doll(s) are
Hanson. Taylor Hanson (the lead singer and middle child) is 38, so he could have a 20 year old child. So I am wondering if each week, one of the offspring of the three brothers will sing with them, so the number of Russian Dolls could be greater than the length of the show.

I can't guess who Robopine or Seashell is. I think Robopine might be an athlete who happens to be a really good singer. But he does things with his voice that makes me think maybe he's a recording artist, but I just can't pinpoint who he is. Same thing with Seashell, although I don't think she's quite as good a singer as Robopine. I liked Robin's guess of Haylie Duff. The other singers they have mentioned are better singers than Seashell, so Haylie being the sister of a singer could be the right answer.

As for Orca, his intro made him sound like an actor, sending out auditions of VHS. But a musician could film a concert performance and send that out to record companies, etc. Orca's voice sounds like the lead singer of The Struts. But I think they are very much a live band, so I think The Struts lead singer would have an even stronger voice than Orca.

I don't think you need to use spoilers for an episode that's already aired. Interesting thought about Kermit not wanting to be inside a costume, but puppeteers have to do all kinds of physically challenging work, so I'm not sure about this. But it could get very hot in there!!

I agree with you about Russian Doll. They just sound like them. I don't really know about the others but I tend to agree with you on their backgrounds.

I'm so exhausted from Worlds I can't even remember what my current guesses were anymore.

Thank goodness Racoon is gone. I mean its funny .... but yikes. I love the new guy. Was he a Shark? Worlds fatigue again and I can't remember! I know it was a fish of some sort. But I like him. The remainder of this group is all good so the next cut will be tough to call. But I can't remember if I had guesses except for Russian Dolls.

I think I know who the Russian Dolls are though. I have not read anyone elses spoiler tags cause I don't want to ruin it for myself if I'm wrong, or even if I'm right, so maybe y'all said the same thing. :D But I think the Russian Dolls are
Hanson brothers. They made hints at there is gonna be yet another Doll next time and I seem to remember they had a younger brother who was not a part of Hanson back in the day.

That's all I got though. I'm not gonna look at anyones guesses though in case I am on the wrong track. :D

Good Girls ..... OMG I LOVE this freaking show!! That set up with Rio and 'Dave', OMG loved it. But if I know Rio, and me thinks I do, I'm thinkin' that confrontation didn't go down quite the way they made it look. ;)

But question, why did Beth write that letter on the back of the photo? If I remember, its basically telling Dean exactly how to 'cook the books'. Did she do it so that if/when they get caught, it would likely get found and set Dean up to be the fall guy? But doesn't it also implicate herself since she wrote it and told him how to do it, so obviously she's involved as well? I'm very confused about the letter and why she wrote it on the back of that photo.

Tonight on episode two of "FOR REAL: THE STORY OF REALITY TV" (on the E! Network), Andy Cohen will have four members of the first season of The Real World together to talk about their season. I believe this was filmed before they started filming their return season, as Eric is present at this interview.

Another unknown celebrity was revealed on The Masked Singer. Another social media celebrity. I have even less of a clue who people are in Group B. No one stands out as someone I think I would know or would have seen.

You guys know I don't know anybody current. The only time I have ever watched even part of that show, I guessed Chris Daughtry, and I was right. Funny.

You have to know who Piglet is. To me, his voice is so obvious. In no way is he trying to disguise his voice. But if he ends up being J.C. Chasez (N'Sync) as the judges guessed, I will be shocked (and wrong). Because Piglet is obviously
Nick Lachey from 98 Degrees

Chameleon is a better rapper than a singer, so I'm guessing it's a rapper that I will never be able to guess as rap music is not my most favourite genre of music. One website thinks it is
Wiz Khalifa

My guess for Black Swan is
Monica
. But I just listened to both of her performances again on youtube and her register seems a bit higher than where she usually sings. So maybe it is someone from a girl group like SWV or Xscape? The judges guessed Ashlee Simpson, Demi Lovato and Lindsay Lohan, but I don't think Black Swan is caucasian.

And then Crab. I took some notes and wrote, "good, not great. NOT a recording artist. Athlete or TV personality". But I searched for spoilers and one guess is
Bobby Brown
. So now I'm ashamed of my notes. So I listened again to Crab's performance and it's better than I thought at first. I just wanted a big female singer from back in the day like Roberta Flack or Sheena Easton. I wonder if there will be more wildcards, or if there will be just one wildcard per group and we are now left with the final eight...?

I think your guess explains why I wouldn't recognize Piglet. I don't typically listen to the boy bands. I know their songs but never was into it enough to know names or who was singing.

It's been too long since I've heard a song by your guess for Crab that I would have to go listen again and compare. I don't know much rap either and I think you are right about Black Swan.
