FSU Watch Party Sunday #1: 1991 Worlds part 2 [12pm CDT/6pm CET]

Those spins are are not good. Too high position in the sit spin, lack of rotations, lack of control, uncentered.....

And he's really stiff, does he ever bend his back? I mean, of course you're supposed to hold a strong back, but....

Chris should have stuck to what he does best - playing to the crowd. He doesn’t have Toller’s stretch, lines, or ‘tude. He looks like a sloppier imitation.

Yeah. I've never seen these Toller programs before and the charisma was mostly gone. Still a very nice program and skater, but I vastly preferred his previous programs.

BF is watching with me. Kurt doing an airy 2A. BF quote: Everything is high. Jumps and spins. Only the hair is low.

Kurt was ok, but I'm not all that sold. Blame the bad quality feed perhaps. Crazy high 3axels though.

Was this a really bad era for men's skating? All the programs are really plodding with seemingly random classical mashups and there is no connection between the music, costumes, and choreography. I know that still happens in skating but it's been every single program here.

I'm still glad to be watching and participating here.

I figured it out, it was the ad block programs I have. That's weird because it was working perfectly fine with them before.

You may prefer Paul Wylie or the Mitchell Johansson Method.
