Sotnikova's new post on Insta:
1. The most important thing is the goal, motivation and coach.

Sorry to hear this but it wasn't unexpected. They have been so unlucky with lots of injuries and I don't think anyone has failed to notice that their personalities haven't seemed well matched. I hope they can find new partners and keep skating. I wish them both the very best in future.

1. Ksenia, Fedi is friendly with both Katsalapov and Trankov. They are charming with their significant others otherwise, not so much. Don't go expecting things from guys that they cannot deliver.

2. You are healthy and young, well much younger than Aljona. So let's just keep this classy. Thank Fedi for his time then move on. He can't throw you or lift you, bless his heart, but his injuries have taken a toll. Find your own Bruno and go get that WC gold. Okay? We're counting on you.:kickass:

I doubt Fedor is that friendly with Nikita, but I don't think being friends with someone means anything...Max and Stephane are friends, and they are nothing alike. They are all adults with their own personalities. Secondly, being honest is "keeping it classy." She didn't call him any names...she said what happened, according to her. Fedor, I'm sure, has his own version of events, but he can either respond or just leave it be. It's not her responsibility to sugarcoat their breakup. (Most) Russian skaters don't play those silly PR games.
