She has some serious diva potential. Not sure about Galiamov; his shoulders drive me crazy. I want a second coming of G&G. I know it will never happen, but I so wish it would.

Of course not. They had the magic and the innocence that will never be replicated. I don't measure other pairs against this impossible standard. I just wish we'd see something truly magical again.G&G were a once in a lifetime kind of pair. There will be other great pairs but they were divine and you can't replicate that.
I remember Mishina and her old partner were the standouts of 2016 JGPF but then split later because he wanted her to lose more weight and be below 40kg? I prefer Panfilova/Rylov more but I'm glad Mishina has been doing so well.
Same hereI'm falling in uberdom for Khudaiberdieva/Nazarov; someone needs to stage an intervention before my love curses them.
Ha. So, you're no longer blaming me for Gubanova.

His favorite skater is Katsalapov... he ofter messes up twizzles...![]()
And both have same patronymics (Gennadyevich)They even look alike! Both names Nikita....
She reminds me Bazarova. Very elegant, very good posture, can’t hit a bad position, beautiful throw jumps and struggling with side by side jumps.

Am not sure about Zagitova, Medvedeva and other silver medalists in the team event (Kolyada, T/M, Z/E, B/S) , but all Sochi winners and medalists still have that stipend.Just out of curiosity, did Zagitova get the same lifetime stipend? Is it something that every gold medallist at the Olympics gets in Russia?
Yes, Zagitova will now receive a life-time stipend. Also, all olympic medalists receive a stipend, although silver and bronze are of lesser amounts, including Team Event.Just out of curiosity, did Zagitova get the same lifetime stipend? Is it something that every gold medallist at the Olympics gets in Russia?
Not sure where to ask this, but does anyone know what is going on with the Junior Ice Dance team skating for Georgia Kazakova/Reviya? I haven`t seen them yet on any entry list for the JGP. I was really impressed with their skating during Junior Worlds.
I was wondering too where are they??Reposting this question from Marta about the junior dance team of Kazakova & Reviya just in case someone who reads this thread might have heard something. I think they were training in Russia?
