Haha, seems like Samarin got the note, where my favourites usually place :) But I am happy I can rewatch that awesome SP once more (who cares he ****ed up :smokin:)
Is that Shulepov leading?:eek::eek: If so, holy **** yes :respec:
Yes, he is leading, while Miliukov and Zuber are in second and third
Both of them were dead boring at Nats, so I have no idea how Samarin could have lost to them :gallopin1

Btw, can we call him and Leonova #teamlovebirds now, after the original #teamlovebirds broke up? :D

Stop. Besides, I feel like I'm saving myself for Bychenko, and I feel like I'm going to have to fight @pinky166 for him.

Shulepov!

I couldn't remember, all the Russian C-team guys are so interchangeable to me, except Belly Murad. :D

A video of Aliev and Kolyada after Dima’s FS, so classy

Oh that is so classy. :40beers: The best thing about the Olympics are moments of extreme sportsmanship, just like Duhamel immediately congratulating S/M on the leaders couch. :respec:

Kolyada seems rather chummy with Rukavicin and Glinka, I realize they're all St. Petersburg skaters, but any chance we could at least get Glinka to choreograph a program for Kolyada next season? :swoon: That would be awesome.

Both of them are training at the same rink (“Figure Skating Academy”), they sometimes share some ice time together and use each other as sparring partners.

An excerpt from Aliev’s interview:
Q: Mikhail Kolyada also is skating in the Figure Skating Academy. Maybe you are sometimes training together and how does that help you?

A: You know, those were interesting practices when Misha and I were able to compete with other doing jumps in a playful way. For example, that quad Lutz, we had two tries and we checked who is doing and who is not doing two out of two. Misha and I get along very well off the ice, we are friends, we are supporting each other, asking each other how things are going. These practices are also interesting, because it is the thrill of competition, there is an extra push, because it is like a mini competition. That used to happen more often, but now, as Misha was at the Grand Prix Final and prepared for competitions and I prepared for other competitions and I had the injury, we didn’t have these practices. I think it is for me and Misha interesting to be on the ice together, to feel everything and it is also a kind of atmosphere for the coaches.

We just need the official admission @Jeschke, until they are out again in a month with a World medal :p (and I'm in the fan auxiliary)

As heartbroken as I am for you:
Rules:
1) Worlds/Olympic medalists and Euro/4CC's champions are not eligible
It's very kind of you to have mentioned their win yourself, otherwise i would have been :gallopin1-boss and had put them im :D
I am so sorry. But we all know, they would not have last long in here either way! Redemeption in Milan!

Bossman Olympic FD recap (as it happened):

Overall - #missionbronze failed completely for all 3 teams :drama: I can only live with a podium sweep of Bob, BabyItalians and Zach in Milan :saint:#delusional

FRA2 - Awesome dress by her and that's it!
SVK - If there is 'Mein Herr' I demand Cohen!
GER - Now that was a pleasant surprise! They skated their best competition this season here :respec: But now, as @SamuraiK already mentioned, time to progress and get some tech! Good job folks! #TeamD
KOR - This was bad, loved the korean opera lady though!
TUR - If someone can explain me how these 2 music pieces (should) work together, please do! I am wondering all season long what's the intention behind that.
ITA - German ES mentioned, he heard unofficially that they will return after Milan too. Can it be?
POL - There is only one #velvetboy in here and it ain't you Maksym!
JAP - One of my favourite FD's this season. Love how the movements go with the music! Hope, even with all Chris' injury history, they hold on a bit longer.
RUS2 - Maybe the best they skated this FD this season! :respec: Bukin commenting with nice words their skate is :swoon: Please better FD next season!
ESP - If it was not all about the olympics, they could be running in a straight way up the (european) top! 2 flawless skates! Kirill is a star and Sara finally showed what she once was able to! Well done folks. Giving S/D that worlds spot is pure waste, sorry!
CAN3 - Awesome dress and that's it! #BabyFirus next season please :EVILLE:
GBR- #BabyBuckland next season please! She is a fighter, but underwhelming that was!
CAN2 - 'Je suis malade' lost its charme long ago and I am just no fan of her, scusi.
USA3 - Good lord, I never was her biggest fan, but :( That was tough to watch. I hope they stick around and bounce back! #dance4peace Chock, dance!
RUS1 - Dear Bob, right now, when you start to build momentum again and seem to get the PCS like the other competitors you wanna get laid and have babies? Seriously? :wall: :drama: Besides that, I cannot get rid of the feeling, that with a program like 'Anna Karenina' they would have battled for bronze :drama:
ITA1 - The red dress brings no luck Anna, when do you recognize? I need that moment in Milan, I do :drama:
USA1 - They were spot on and deserve that bronze. If I like that, that's a different story.
FRA1 - Astonishing skaters, great talents, but I am relieved it's only silver; please stick around show range and go for that gold in 2022.
USA2 - It was not even :gallopin1 itself, it was just kinda :yikes: here and then. The medal was on the table and my heart breaks for @levineismine ; the good thing outta this, the mental breakdown on screen of her will even be more immense now in Milan after this :D They already looked like a mix of Souquet/Aliev in the warm-up, which could not have been a good sign
CAN1 - What a career! I cannot pay enough respect to these 2 folks! That was such a great olympic moment! I hate to see Olympic champions lost FD and PCS when obviously they owned the arena! But, coming to Korea, I thought they stood no chance, and I am pleased they won. It's a fair result, taking the overscoring of P/C in SD into account. What a legacy! So long around! True champions! I bow down!:swoon:
