Big Brother 19 (US)

Jessica was beyond stupid to announce her advantage to everyone the second the game shifted away from her favor. Now all Paul needs to do is nominate her and Cody and force her to burn it at first possible opportunity and he gets through the week with zero people pissed at him.

I can't stand Josh or Paul. if I had to put up with those 2, I would have self evicted. Cody and Jessica would be good players if they could keep their hands off of each other. I am hoping Kevin will win. I def don't want Paul to win. Raven is talking too much about her illness, but what gets me is all this GI stuff and where are the scars? Feeding tube or something. Something is fishy.
They only have 3 or 4 weeks left, so there has to be some double evictions coming up.

Bummed Paul won again, but it's their own fault for not getting him out when they could and blindly following him. He had a group of them studying together which seems to have benefited him the most, including a complicated back up plan for splitting answers to keep some of them in until the end. As it was, with Matt and Raven at the end with him, he would have been safe no matter what.

Glad Rameses is gone. No idea who he is as a person, but he was neither a good player or entertaining, so buh-bye.

I actually thought it was a good move! She likely knows Paul will nominate her and Cody anyway, so this throws him off in fear of wasting an HOH, not to mention the next HOH or two because she was vague about how long it lasts. Plus, no one knows the extent of it - Paul was already safe, so this one must be different they might think, and with all their paranoia, it could be something crazy like her getting to replace the noms on the spot, or sending the HOH out in their place. They don't know.

Plus, now that both Cody and Jessica have shown themselves able to win diverse types of competitions, that will also be a factor until the end.

I also think it was a great shot to the whole crew - "you may hate me, but America doesn't" - which as two implications. One her chance to further benefit when America votes (or Cody because if she's popular the guess would be that he is too), and the other of course is the egos and quest for fame of these people. It would be crushing for some of them to find out Jessica is more popular than they are. Even Kevin didn't seem to happy when he found out earlier.

Raven is talking too much about her illness, but what gets me is all this GI stuff and where are the scars? Feeding tube or something. Something is fishy.

On Joker's she moved to the bottom of their daily pole right after she hurt her foot, and I think it's because they've had enough of her talk about her illness and other maladies. Some have commented that after the foot accident her limp was inconsistent, and there's something about her mother possibly being a Munchhausen type. Not sure of the details, but if you are interested you can probably find a lot more about it.

Reading on previously tv.
Jason lost the 'new' comp and is on the block.
Jess talked Cody into not competing in that comp and now he is mad.
Before Pauls's noms - he was discussing/asking for volunteers to be on block - thinking if he nom Jess/Cody - he would not be able too.

Paul nominated Jess/Cody. Shocker! Paul, Jess and Cody in HOH room after - Paul and Cody big fight.
Both had good points. Love how Cody said to Paul - that he treats the others like dogs, and called Paul out for talking so much about his experience in the house.
Jess - had a moment of brillance - comment about them comparing their dicks.
Paul threw Cody out of HOH, then stood by doorway way still arguing with Jess/Cody as going down stairs.
Jess keeps saying she has something never used in the game and that Paul never asked any questions.
One poster thinks Jess should let Cody get evicted and use her hex next week.
Also - Jess/Cody have argued and Jess has questioned what life outside the house will be like.
Jess/Cody - breakup conversation, very real, not game related. He says he is like this outside the house. I do think they do have something real, and not just all showmance. Cody wants Jess off block so she can use hex next week.
Cody sharing that he does not have many friends, and not that close to his family. His brother died a few years ago
Posts wonder if he does have some PTSD from serving. Paul has thrown that around.
But then Jody has had sex. Oh well.

Elena got paranoid before noms (related to Paul figuring out alternative noms)- and after noms - says to Jess - that I (Elena) am going home.

At the same time - in the kitchen - Mark and Josh getting at it. Josh banging the pots and pans and being his normal immature crazy self - and came towards Mark. Mark went at him - and Kevin broke it up.
And during all this - Mark is in a neon yellow/green tutu!
Both ended up in DR. Mark quite down. I feel for him - as Josh is nuts, and sounds like everyone laughs and eggs Josh on when he does this stupid stuff.
Mark has apologized to everyone including Josh. Josh will not accept handshake. Josh honestly thinks he does nothing wrong.

There have been multiple posts over time - Alex hits Jason on a regular basis. ??

Christmas and Jess had a real nice conversation, Christmas being honest with Jess. Jess told her about hex and Christmas suggested to let Cody go home. They have bonded.

Raven told Matt she is not dying.

Posters want Cody to stay - as he gets under Pauls skin. I get that.
So many in the house think they are in good with Paul. I want to see Paul out - to see if any of the others start to play their own game.

Now they are having weather alerts - being woken up - storms with names of former houseguests.

Of all weeks for me to be on vacation! I'm going to need to go back and watch the Paul-Cody-Jess fight when I get home. I back read Jokers last night to catch up on the day's events and it took an hour. Can they please unleash a curse where Paul is sent home? Pretty please? It's embarrassing how all his minions wait for their instructions from him as if he is God.

I looked up what she has and it isn't fatal. Mom is running a gofundme account to raise 200k. There is an entire # on twitter about it, with people who have the same thing. Most saying she is misrepresenting it. I think there is even a campaign to get it removed.
I really want Paul, Josh, Mark, Elaina gone. I would like to see the rest play the game without being Paul telling everyone what to do and calling them all idiots. Paul is really full of himself. He isn't hot like he thinks he is. I like Christmas and Kevin the most.

I saw that. I think now Kevin is getting hip to Paul's final 5 (Paul told a couple of them who it was and kevin wasn't on it), that Kevin who is well liked and respected, can make that turn on Paul.
i was wondering why getting to jury was such a big draw. 10k to the jury members.
I just want Josh, Paul, Cody, jess, Raven, and Mark out of there.

If Paul's running the house that's on most of them for being lazy and letting him play the game for them.

Kevin and Christmas are also playing I think, but laying low and letting Paul think he's in charge and watching from the sidelines. Thing is that at some point they have to start making big moves or they will have no case for the jury.

Surprised Cody didn't play the temptation, and Jessica too. They are both good competitors so stood a good shot of winning, and even if one lost, they could anticipate they were being nommed anyway so it would have forced Paul to nom someone else. And they have a better shot of both staying in the game if there's a third nominee.

But also sounds like Cody's had enough and wouldn't mind going home.

Jess said to Cody - poker face, let the others think they did not need it.
I really wish Jess had kept her mouth shut, and have the use of the hex be a blindside. oh well.

Paul trying to make a deal with Jess - he will use the veto on her, and she does not use the hex this week. She wants Alex put up on the block. Not sure if Jess is playing Paul or not.

Paul switched the coffee with decaf. Cody, and a few others have headaches and are tired. That is just truly mean.
Years ago I was addicted to diet coke and went cold turkey. For 4-5 days, the headaches and lethargy were horrible.

Mark and Elena have broken up. Elena is spending time with Josh that is annoying Mark. She also blamed Mark for the pots banging episode. Why is Josh so blameless?

Raven is quite the attention whore. She and Matt having some fight with throwing baby powder. She threw a whole bag of flour into the shower when Matt was in it. I guess Raven screams loud and wants to go to the DR, but Matt is smart enough to not leave the bathroom and track stuff everywhere, which Raven has already done.
Also she equated her medical condition to what Cody went through when he came home from war.

Jess & Cody - really do seem mismatched. She lives in LA, has a cleaner, knows Jennifer Aniston etc.
Cody lives in TX in a low populated area. And he does not think men and women can be friends. And Jess has some guy friends.

OK that makes sense. Nice to see that Jess is actually playing the game and trying to make the most of her hex. Not sure what happened to Cody as he was so strong out of the gate, but it's like he had one strategy and when it didn't work he gave up. Doesn't seem like a good quality in a member of the military, but then again maybe he was so by-the-book and following orders that he doesn't think that much on his own?

I've been on vacation and am still trying to catch up.
My only comment for now is: I hope when Jessica watches this later, she reconsiders her eyelashes.

I stayed up and watched last night. if jess uses the hex this week, it means paul's HOH is nothing. i think he has a big fear of that. jess or cody could win HOh next week and take him out.
I think jess and cody not backdooring Paul last week was stupid. they would have gotten paul or Josh out. it was such a waste. Those 2 are just interested in laying in bed together.
Jess wants Alex out because cody showed interest in her when he was HOH.
Raven is also driving me crazy. The over reacting to everything. so glad when she is gone.
Looks like Josh is going to go after Elana. oh goody 2 annoying people together.

Well this is disappointing. Paul used the veto on Jason, but didn't have to do a replacement nominee! Would have been better if he had to, but then I guess he wouldn't have used it. I just wanted there to be more opportunity for Paul to have to show is hand and betray more people.

But then again, unless Cody truly doesn't want to stay in the game, then they are both staying anyway.

Paul's pissed off the least number of people possible and (I'm assuming, unless Cody really does want out) burned the advantage as well. Even if nobody goes home, I'd consider it a mildly successful week for him. He has everybody but Jess/Cody wrapped around his finger, he should be able to survive next week unless one of them wins HOH.

Now Paul is trying to get raven, matt and xmas to pick a fight with Cody and get him kicked out. Josh is willing to do it.
I hated Paul last year and this year even more. He is so full of himself. If any of them wants to win they need to get rid of him soon. But the producers are doing everything to keep him.
doesn't the jury get to watch all the tapes before they vote? I wonder how they will feel with him calling them all idiots?

The jury doesn't get to see everything. I think they used to, but the rules changed when the private diary sessions were clearly affecting the outcome of the game.

IIRC, the whole sequester thing began after Danielle of S3 really rocked the game and should have won easily, but enough of the jury got annoyed with her backstabbing and scheming after they went home and watched the episodes that she ended up losing to someone who kinda drifted through.

The best twist for me was the Adria and Natalie twin swapping thing. They really pulled that off and I think the reveal is one of the greatest moments in reality TV.

I've been a fan since the beginning, and I still remember being so excited about season 1. I also remember the issues they had with planes flying overhead and having banners that would reveal spoilers to the houseguests.

Tony, I have watched since the 1st one also. The casting was much better. More of a group of different type of people. Now they want more showmances (porn stuff), and buff younger people. And they took away the alcohol. Dr. Will, Boogie, I even loved Evil Dick (that Josh thinks he is like).
Production is keeping too many idiots and trouble makers because the make good tv. I hate the vets coming back. it seems like they run the house and get advantages too often,
At least Jason and Kevin are now talking about getting rid of Paul.
Jessica wasted her HOH last week. she should have put Paul up on the block. at the very least, Paul would have fought to get rid of josh and the others would see him for what he is.
i want Jess to use the hex this week. Makes Paul's hoh worthless. Then they would have a chance at winning hoh next week, backdoor Paul and she should put up josh and ravin (or any of them). maybe Christmas since she wouldn't be a good player for the veto.

I have watched the infomercials and i thought i knew her from somewhere! I forgot chicken George. He was great!! lots of fun. Kevin is great casting. i don't think he knew too much about BB before he got on. I think his kids signed him up.
He can handle the hamsters because he has 7 kids. I am sure some of this stuff shocks him.
i'd like Matt better if he wasn't with raven. her and that screeching. she starts out quiet, and gets louder.

After the season Danielle did not win - that is when they started to sequester the jury. So they saw all of Danielle's diary room confessions. She so deserved to win that season.

In reading on previously tv - Paul directed people to be nasty to Cody. There was a big fight - Jess held her own.
Paul continued to show what an a$$ he is. Sounds like only Elena looked horrified. It got really ugly.
I guess Paul is upset that the hex will cause not everyone on his team to make jury.
Jody talking about it - love Jess' comment - it is like $8,000 for jury, get a job!
Also Paul has been putting vaseline on stuff, and dumped dirty pots and pans on Cody's bed. Sounds like Kevin may have helped with the vaseline. Also folks on previously tv seem very disappointed that Kevin is not against the crap going on.

But eventually folks got called to DR. I think Josh is worried how they may look like bullies now.
Also there was a Yeller over the wall that said 'Jess is America's favorite, Paul is a bully' Not sure if anyone other than Jody heard it though.
Sounds like Jess was much better after her DR session. Jody had been considering self evicting.
And someone posted - even Evil Dick thinks it is too much and is giving up on the season. That is rich.

I was reading jokers updates on that. it was horrible. They figured if they could make Josh go off he would get sent home or jess wouldn't use the hex to save him. Paul and Josh are douchbags. josh stopped banging pans long enough to tell his mom he wasn't a bully.he was bullying a bully. he is so stupid. The only reason Paul keeps him around is he will do anything. matt at one point was the voice of reason. Xmas was stirring the pot saying horrible things. You can read them on Jokers. i can't even type the stuff she said.
as I said above. i hope Jess uses the hex now. They get HOH and veto. i think next week should be double eviction. they could win and get rid of 2 of paul's people.
I want to see them put paul on the block with someone else from his team. they will see his real colors.

mysticchic - ITA I think she will use the hex - she is not dumb. And if either gets HOH, they may be able to pull in Mark and maybe Elena?? Even if they do not get Paul out - get one of his minions out.
I was reading on previously - before Grodner, - Shapiro - would separate the fighting people into separate rooms. I think Grodner lets things go too far.
I am not a fan of Jody - but I want them to stay, be strong - if only to annoy Paul - and cause his downfall.
These other folks should be ashamed of themselves.
Also - Cody has aluminum foil on his dog tags. They (I think instigated by Paul) are wondering what he is hiding and if he was really a marine. I think ones social security # is on there. Cody has a daughter I think he has only told Jess about her. If I had missed the first few weeks of the show - I would probably like Jody. But I want Paul to NOT win more than anything.

I would also like them to use the hex, because it will screw Paul, and plus it's no fun if someone has an advantage they don't use.

Jason and Kevin apparently had a conversation yesterday that it might be time to get Paul out. I believe Kevin has heard twice now that Paul's F5 or F6 does not include him.

I think if Paul is nominated next week, there's a good chance that some people will come together on a temporary basis to rally and get him out. He's proven he's enough of a competitor that they may not get very many chances to do so, and surely they see what a threat he is? Too many seem to be sitting back letting him play the game for them, and they'll have no case for the jury at the end.
