And I guess we'll finally find out if Keo can teach now he's been given a halfway decent partner.

I've only heard of Geraldo and Mischa and I had to look up exactly who Mischa was (I knew I'd heard of her, but I wasn't sure where).

Is there such a thing as an E list celeb?

I agree with those who say this is one of the better casts in a while. I've heard of 5 of them. I think that's a record. Normally it's just 2 or 3.

Watching the horrible Fuller House - the only redeeming thing in the show is Jodie Sweetin. She's by far the best actor in the show, doing a really good job with both lighthearted stuff and deeper stuff. I'm cheering for her - she's come a long way since her difficult private life (3 divorces, drug addiction). Plus she can sing and can actually dance. Kinda disappointed she wasn't paired with Val, since they danced together on the show. She definitely wasn't as shy with selling it as Candace was.

But I'm guessing a football player will win with so many in this season.

Also, super happy that Sasha is finally a pro again. Go Sasha!

Or they could also split the NFL voting bloc and all end up out a lot earlier than expected.. really could go either way. It'll help if any or all have some unexpected dancing talent and they can win the casual viewer votes, too.

Sad Emma won't be on this season. But her twitter confirms that she and Sasha are together! I thought they had broken up, but I guess not (or they got back together).

Kim Fields used to play Tootie on The Facts of Life. She always wore roller skates when the series first began.

I was born in 1987, so I've never seen the Facts of Life I've definitely heard of it, Lisa Welchel was a Survivor contestant a few years ago

Kim Fields was also on Living Single, which was a hilarious show in the 90s that launched the acting career of Queen Latifa. Fields' character was famous for wearing a lot of wigs, which will come in handy on DWTS.

Ginger Zee looks good. She danced 2 years ago with the DWTS cast when they were on Good Morning America. She also will have the following from this show, plus they will be cheering for her. She has a great attitude but just had a baby. I can see her going along way with Val. Here is the video of her dancing with Derek two years go

First dances and songs have been announced. Does anyone else miss when the premiere only had 2 dance styles (usually Cha Cha and Foxtrot)? Made it easier to judge them. This year there are 6 different dance styles in the premiere.

I much preferred the days when there were two dance styles the first night. It gave a better opportunity to know who was up for it and who was going to fizzle fast.

I don't miss the result shows, but I hate that you can vote during the show for someone already going home. Feels like a waste sometimes.

I'm gonna have to tape on Monday night and watch on Tuesday. Once the numbers are announced, would somebody please come post Tony's number here so I can get my phone votes in? I always vote for Tony in the early rounds .... I don't care if you are supposed to vote for the celebrity cause it don't matter much anyway on the first couples rounds and I want Tony to stay.

Poor Edyta. When they were introduced on GMA along with the rest of the cast, Geraldo didn't even bother to acknowledge Edyta at all when he and she were introduced; He was too busy admiring himself on the monitor. Ugh. I hope she gets some big $$$ out of this brief gig at least.
