Yeah, but DL is implying he has more information regarding the withdrawals than the basic "she's having surgery to address a lingering injury from last season." Which he may. Or he may just be trying to embellish that story with a bunch of innuendo and absolutely nothing concrete.
Oh I haven’t followed it that closely

@AngieNikodinovLove (ANL) Looks like she was 4th in Junior at Nationals last year, so not totally out of nowhere.

Here is her short program from US nationals this year. Really good.

She beat this score by four points. If anybody sees a video of cranberry please let me know.

She leads the short program at cranberry by 10 points

Are all y’all talking about the women’s cranberry in the kiss and cry? Is there a thread open now for it? I guess I gotta go get the ole wallet…

Need to know what happened to Levito, and is Lin-Gracey in competition for Everhardt for the skate America slot here? Because I really am pulling for Everhardt

Yes, there is a thread in KnC.

Competition for the US TBD SkAm spot is between Lin-Gracey, Everhardt, Andrews & Seo. It'll be really interesting to see what the USFS does if it's close between Elyce and Sarah here. Elyce is very high up on the GP alternates list and could easily get 2 without being assigned to SkAm (especially if Thorngren is more injured than has been let on and her two GP assignments open up).

Because she competed today.
Gotcha. I thought they were talking about Skate America. I'm trying to follow too many athletic events at once.

ETA: Now that I understand ANL's question, here is Isabeau's short program:

On the bright side, her spins look better than they did last season.

Ooof they had a lot of nerve last week to try and sell me a ticket “if I was in the area”, they should’ve been handing tickets to anybody and I mean anybody that walked past on the street. How embarrassing, grow the sport USFSA. It’s just arena workers and customers in there.

I guess it’s going to take trusova to come back to sell cranberry tickets

OK Rant is over. Lol

Our Junior women are starting to rival our junior men in making things not so easy on the USFS when determining JGP assignments! Team USA has a spot in all 7 JGPs and did not pick up any additional spots.

Just a refresher of the Junior Cup results -

We know the first two JGP assignments already:
JGP Latvia - Annika Chao (1st at Jr Cup)
JGP Czechia - Josephine Lee (3rd at Jr Cup)

So, let's look at the other NQS competitions where some of these women have competed as Juniors (those competing senior in the NQS may have higher scores but the program requirements are different and can't be included for comparison):

One has to think that Logan Higase-Chen is already penciled in for one of the five remaining JGP assignments given her 2nd place at Jr Cup, same for Cleo Park given her very strong showing at Glacier Falls.

Do we have any reasonable guesses who the last 3 JGP spots will go to? Keira? Emilia? One or more of the early JGP assignees if they skate well or are in a potential JGPF qualifying position?

And what about Sherry Zhang?

Surely a score of 180 and change is going to give Emilia an advantage over Keira! Why wouldn't it?

Because Jr Cup results matter. Plus, we haven't seen Sherry Zhang yet. Is she recovered enough from the injury that kept her out of Jr Cup?
