If I’m reading the docs correctly, skaters can’t earn TES minimums at invitationals, even ones with all phases, because they don’t qualify as internationals (which need at least two entries from two different members to earn the minimums, but not relevant to invitationals).

In 2019 Shanghai Trophy scores were counted for minimum TES.
I guess they can fall into Rule 107 Paragraph 9 Point B (international competitions can be "Limited to certain countries or restricted in any other way").

Edit: here is the old 2021/22 TES pages and Tursynbaeva had Shanghai Trophy listed

Thank you for that! In that case, all of the scores would qualify towards meeting TES minimums, including "renewing' scores earned last season, since they had their two competitors from two different member minimum.

Bradie looked really good! Great to see the return of her aggressive skating. I don’t care for the black long sleeves and black gloves because I feel like it emphasizes her arms and hands which aren’t the most soft and graceful. But then again I don’t like Ilia’s gloves or really anyone’s gloves. I prefer bare hands like in ballet or at least flesh color gloves. The slo mo of Bradie’s jumps show how she is not tight at the ankle in the first one or two rotations with space in the knees, which also may slow her rotation enough to get a q. But she looks much more like her old self with improvements in presentation. I always love her spins. Some of the best.

Fan Zone article by Grace Knoop (former U.S. pair skater) on Elyce Lin-Gracey before she competes in her second JGP in Yerevan, Armenia:
Elyce drew #30 of 34 for the SP tomorrow (Thursday) and is scheduled to skate at 10 am Eastern time; teammate Sherry Zhang will skate #5 at 6:30 am ET.

Became a Sherry Zhang uber today. She took a splat today but otherwise skated beautifully. What I like is the Kwan quality of self assurance. The fall was of no consequence(other than a few points); she got up and delivered all the detail in her program. If her body cooperates expect great things from this young lady.

I really like Sherry’s skating too! Her presentation is so compelling and so convincingly delivered for a 14 year old. Plus all the level 4’s and the high component scores are very impressive. Lots of potential for sure.

Elyce Lin-Gracey has the classical skating I really enjoy too. Ted and Mark said she was not really hitting the triple flip/triple toe in practice. Didn’t do it in the warm up but did it in the competition. Kudos for that!

Hope one or both make the medal podium tomorrow!

And congratulations to Elyce Lin-Gracey and Sherry Zhang for earning a silver and bronze medal on the Junior Grand Prix. Well deserved! They both have exciting futures if they keep training hard and progressing.

I keep watching Starr’s short program. I just think it’s phenomenal. This is my favorite program of hers she’s ever had.

I say this has to be choreographed by Rohene Ward, true?
Fairly certain it's by Derrick Delmore, who has choreographed almost all, if not all, of her competitive programs to this point.

ETA- see below, it was in fact Adam Rippon

Earlier in this thread (BTW, I bumped up Starr's fan thread earlier today and posted the SP video link there ;)):
Starr announced her SP music back in April - "Alien Superstar" by Beyoncé
Adam Rippon choreographed - Starr's post back on July 20 with photo/clips: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cu7vBrjya4V/)

Her FS music is "Being Good Isn't Good Enough" and she skated to this song at the Peggy Fleming Trophy in July 2021 (she used the Lea Michele/Glee cover there) and her coach Derrick Delmore choreographed, AFAIK.

I posted this waaaaay back on March 6 in this thread:
Of the U.S. women who competed internationally this season, I believe Jill Heiner was the first to announce 2023-24 program music :) (Feb. 1): https://www.instagram.com/p/CoH8hdmLv2C/
She went to California (during Nationals, IIRC) to have a new free skate choreographed by Nadia Kanaeva to music from Breakfast at Tiffany’s ("i can’t wait to debut it next season and embody holly golightly to the fullest!!").
Jill Heiner finally was able to debut her FS at the very end of the NQS season at the Boston Open and mentioned in her post that she had "a back stress fracture that took up 90% of the season" :( (photo #3 shows her with Mirai who was coaching there): https://www.instagram.com/p/CyJPb7yr9k_/

Sarah Everhardt won the Senior Women's event (178.32) in Boston, with Alena Budko 2nd -- she also was dealing with an injury this season and competed in 2 late NQS comps (scored 141.64 in Boston, much improved from her 117.67 at the Broadmoor Fall Classic) -- and Jill 3rd (141.45).

Always needing to be the contrarian, I don't love Starr's short program. The music's fine (and fun) but choices like clasping her hands on her head to emphasize words like "unicorn" in the lyrics had me  and not in appreciative way. A "Drag 101" derivative isn't exactly compelling choreography to me. (Sorry, @AngieNikodinovLove).

Also a quick note to 😭 because I see Ting Cui had to withdraw from her comp this weekend because she got Covid AGAIN. This poor girl has the worst luck.
