To see them live maybe ? At first the least I can say was I wasn't enthralled by their music choice and I was wondering if they would provide their fans with Prozac or, on the contrary, a rope to hang themselves

That's the effect Yamagata's music has on me. On a rainy day after a shitty day at work I want to sue her for mental cruelty

In the meantime, I was confident they'd be able to make me love the program in spite of the depressing songs. And sure, they did. I think the camera/video doesn't do justice to their speed, flow, and the way each of their moves perfectly follows and underlines each accents and notes of the melodies. It's a whole. The songs without P/C skating to them don't do anything to me. With the sound effect and the vibes you can feel in a rink, it's totally different. The main difference with their previous FDs is the constant and high speed. They are as smooth as ever but their lifts and spins defy gravity. When I watched them at practice on the morning of the FD, my first thought was that the 1st part of the FD could cure insomnia... But the whole package was not there and I was sorely mistaken. Things were very different during the competition. It's a physical experience, you hold your breath, hanging on by the edge of your seat. It's like going white water rafting. You're afraid to tip over and drown but thrilled and completely carried away all the same. I think the filming at Grenoble Grand Prix wasn't very good. Unecessary close-ups and "legs cutting" that mess up the general impression. Or maybe, it's just me and what I just wrote is total nonsense
EDIT :
Oooops were you talking about Gilles/Poirier ? I read P/C where you wrote P/G !! Well I'm not that moved by Starry Night either even if I like it.
