I imagine that the craftsmanship needed to produce knives or other weapons can be considered artistic. I have also seen many instances of people who collect and display swords for that reason - doing so with knives doesn't really seem such a stretch to me.

People collect all kinds of things for whatever reason. I have a collection of photos of unique doors (too cumbersome to collect the real item). And found a FaceBook page for fans of doors.

'Forged in Fire' is a TV show about blade making. It certainly is an art. Mr. Japanfan used to be a welder and loves that show.

I don’t think it opens but it said something about a digital display. At that size I would call it a rumor rather than reality! But this company of designers is apparently doing “projects” like this all of the time and getting great returns on their investments.

This reminded me of a documentary I had seen a few years ago. I can't exactly remember, but it was on a channel like The History Chanel or Science Channel. The man's name is Dr. Willard Wigans. He is known for making the world's most smallest microscopic sculptures. Queen Elizibeth even owned one of his microscopic masterpieces.
