Survivor: Winners at War

Yep. Natalie is the only one really working to figure out those clues and no one else even knows about the Tokens yet, do they? So funny how she messed up those shell things so no one else could figure it out. Does she win a token for herself every time she figures out those clues? I don't remember.

She gets an advantage that she can sell to someone still in the game for their fire token. So she has to decide who is likely to buy the advantage and remember whether they still have a fire token to make the purchase. If they don't buy, she gets nothing.

Except they don't know that she is the one selling them their advantages. She could tell them, of course, but she will still be an outsider coming in at that point.

According to Jeff, the producers decided to make Edge of Extinction much harder than it was in the past and we will see that next week, which I guess is why we saw previews of Ethan looking like death. But that might really change the dynamic on EoE.

Natalie is a freaking machine! I was exhausted just watching them climb those steps, she jogged thru the whole thing! Man I hope she gets back in the game.

Does anyone know the Idol count? I think Sandra got one from buying one with her Token, right? And Denise still has hers. Anyone else?

Bummed Tyson is gone - I know he was not always liked - but some of his comments over the years have been amusing.
He seems mellower with age.
Interesting that the one time players have been noted as a group - but unknown alliance.

I think Michelle is getting an interesting edit. Funny how she told Rob her win was controversial - so were his and Ambers. :grope:
Loved Rob's not really a lie to Jeremy about Adam. He did not really say much.

Sandra - I continue to love you- so consistent - anyone by me. And how many challenges has she sat out. Only Sandra can get away with that.

EOE - uggh challenge - and the preview for next week where Tyson says you have a lot of logs.
Poor Ethan. I loved when he won his season, and seems like the nicest person, but can he make it?
I am rooting for Natalie to get back in - she is killing it.

I really do like lots of people. I just hope the weaker go and then the last 6 or so are super strong.
Imagine a final 3 out of Rob, Sandra, Parvarti, Tony, Yul, Kim, Natalie ????

I laughed so hard when Tyson was talking about his tribe and he pretended he didn't know one of their names. Made me think he's seen fan comments where part way through the game we're still sorting out who is who, and there's often that one person who suddenly becomes important and we didn't realize they were even there. Wasn't there one player years ago who @Prancer kept referring to as a crew member seen in the background?

Anyway, Natalie's crushing it, but I really hope it's Tyson who comes back. As I recall, he's very good at all manner of challenges.

On an only slightly related note, I watched the season premiere of Big Brother Canada 8 last night, and oh my it is so, so far ahead of BB USA! Casting, the challenges, the opening intros, editing, the house itself, even the set for the live show. The first challenge was unbelievable - instead of balancing on a little surfboard while they had water thrown at them as they seem to do every year on BB USA, these players had to keep a full size car from falling off a building by holding onto a rope. Looked like something from a blockbuster movie! I encourage anyone who can access it, especially if you already watch BB USA, to have a look.

Well, Tyson is not completely gone yet.... And yes, his comment about the logs was hilarious!

I think that was Roark, who got absolutely no screen time until she went off the during tribal council that sent her packing- which made no sense anyways since she had no storyline going into that.

Last nights episode was kinda meh. Not a huge fan of Tyson. Michele might be one to keep our eyes on.

I did enjoy the differences among the 3 new tribes.
Yul's trio better not get too cocky.
Rob -I have always loved him, but I was what a dumbass and clapped at his boot.
I am enjoying Sara this season.
Did I miss something - did they even show Exile Island?
Sad about Penner's wife. I was always a fan. I appreciate them showing what was going on and hope they raise $.

This episode was some much needed entertainment and escapism after a rough day.

Loved Sarah and Sophie and so glad that they read Adam and Ben correctly. I've always been a fan of Rob, but I was cheering for him to get the boot. Now he can go and hang out with Amber on Edge of Extinction.

It was interesting to see Parvati and Michelle bond after they had been on the opposite side on their previous tribe.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I thought it was rather masterful on Parvati's part. She saw that it was awkward with Michelle and Wendell, knew instinctively Michelle would need someone to talk to, and voila, bonding experience.

As for Rob, much as he's always been a favourite, I do have to remind myself that it took him 4 times to win. He's been playing well, but at the same time, he's got to know that all the other players have studied his game in particular.

But then again, it ain't over yet!

I sensed Rob's demise was coming with the way the episode flowed (extinction what?) but I still had a question whether Sarah actually used the steal a vote or not, so I went and checked and it was 4-1 to vote Rob out- so they kept both the immunity and the steal a vote secret. I'm sure we will have a clip in the opening of the next episode that shows the guys giving agreeing glances/nods to the girls during the walk to tribal or something of that nature, or maybe they even got a split second sometime before going that solidified the deal.

Every week my 'I think this person will go far!' changes, but I'm still stuck on Adam and Michele, and I think Kim might be in it at the end too.

So happy that Rob is out... hopefully it’s for good! I adore Amber but I’ve never really been a fan of his.

Here’s to hoping Parv, Sandra and Yul all stick around a good while longer!

I wonder what they’re going to do about the live finale and reunion show.... Of course, that’s probably not due to air until April or maybe early May, so perhaps things will be under more control by then.

Does anyone else think that Rob might have thrown it so he could be with his wife, and they will plan a comeback...

Still think Sandra is dangerous, how come no one else does?

As soon as Denise said she needed to make a big move, I knew she was agreeing with Sandra only to backstab her. Wonderfully done, and she can say she single-handedly orchestrated that. The only reason I can think she gave Jeremy the other idol was to hopefully get in with him/the majority moving forward.

I was hoping Parv could save herself and Wendell would go but the men stuck together.

Big names leaving left and right, but my final 3 hope of Yul, Denise, and Sarah is still in the works nearly halfway into the season.

It should be about time for the first battle back into the game, no? And do we think that the fire tokens are going to be used to vote someone back in?

:wuzrobbed :wuzrobbed But that's what I love about Sandra! I can't believe she gave up her Idol. That was a stupid stupid move. Now who am I gonna root for.

I thought she did it in case she had been lied to and they were actually voting Jeremy or tried splitting the vote in some way, as he is her only ally. It was going to be one of the two of them and I think they chose Denise because Jeremy is much better at challenges. I do think it's a shame she burned that second idol, but...everything in this game is a roll of the dice.

I think it's hilarious that Denise told Sandra she would give her one token before tribal and one after if the idol was real. I knew right then that Sandra was in trouble, but I didn't know if Denise had it in her. Well, go Denise!

I also started laughing when Sandra was talking about the people who were considered big names and people who weren't considered threats--as she and the other people she considers big names are being picked off by the non-threats. I'm guessing Tony is safe next week, since they previewed his tribe considering his boot, but I wouldn't miss him if he were gone.

I was hoping Parv could save herself and Wendell would go but the men stuck together.

Parv looked almost as angry as Rob.

Oh, yeah, and I generally like Wendell, but really, the way he constantly interrupted Parvati made me want to slap him.

I really liked Wendell in his season - but something about him this season - he seems rigid.
But wow - Rob, Parv and Sandra gone back to back to back.
Michelle is getting a lot of screen time. Sara is getting a good edit as is Denise.
To me - Tony is not getting a winners edit - more the amusing guy that is there for entertainment.
Bummed Sandra is gone - as she is so funny, but smart to get rid of her.
Still luv Yul, and Kim is quiet one.
Good episode, but felt rushed -it could have been longer.
I do like how everyone is playing and they are showing the different strategies.
Tyson with the peanut butter - too funny.

Am assuming there will not be a live finale. And this is one that would be so entertaining.
Maybe they could do some kind of Skype in or something.
