Not to be argumentative about the height issue, but I'm 5'7" and that's an average height. If you are looking at statistics in the U.S. or anywhere else, there's surely a range. I consider anything from 5'2" to 5'4" to be on the short side for females. 5'5" to 5'7 is average height, while 5'8" to 5'10" and higher is tall for females.

It sounds like you've invented your own definitions of certain statistical terminology and are now insisting that everyone use your definition, not the real definitions.

Sorry, very questionable.

As is the "I knew nothing about him"
Meghan said, "Because I'm from the States, you don't grow up with the same understanding of the royal family. While I now understand there's a global interest, I didn't know much about him and so the only thing that I had asked her when she said she wanted to set us up was, 'I have one question, well is he nice?' Because if he wasn't kind, it didn't seem like it would make sense..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wW2oLfsHMc

I think it would be nearly impossible to know "nothing" about him. I mean, he was in teen magazines when I was growing up.

But I know very little about him as an actual person. I think it would be reasonable to say "nothing". It seems strange to argue about the semantics of how much Meghan knew. She doesn't appear to have sought him out because she had particular interest. And there is the interview whe she kind of just shrugged with a "who knows?" when asked Prince William or Prince Harry- so that is some evidence she had given the idea of dating a Prince little thought, even as an imaginary.

You mean this interview?

https://youtu.be/sA-JZLHnlpU

It’s obvious before this question was asked she didn’t think at all about the RF or either prince. She laughed off the question as a joke because she really didn’t care. The interview tossed Harry as an answer and she repeated comically, before moving on to a more relevant question.

 No one has to use my definition. I just happen to share a different view that has always been my understanding, especially since I'm in the average height range. I've never been described as being tall, unless I was wearing stilettos, which believe me I've only done on a handful of occasions. Boy it is dang hard walking in heels. It's definitely a learned art, and lots of women grin and bare it because it can do wonders for leg muscles -- unfortunately horrors for feet muscles. Ow! :D

And whatevs, whatevs, just another 'who cares' and 'what difference does it make anyway' brouhaha on FSU. Marginally entertaining, but clearly beside the point. Perceive how ye will and be happy.

The British royals looked dashing and happy on the occasion of Prince Louis' christening. He seems such a calm, sweet baby, at least that's the impression I get from afar. But everyone can see it as they will. :yikes:

And I thought Meghan looked lovely in bespoke Ralph Lauren olive green with a hemline length I think looks best on her. As a perfect example of her monochrome dressing described in this fashion clip:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIk9njC8AP4, Meghan wore a matching hat and shoes with medium range heels (at least to my eyes folks). ;) :drama:
http://madaboutmeghan.blogspot.com/

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be having a very busy couple of days coming up (as noted on the above blog). Actually it's been and will continue to be a busy year for the British royals altogether, with lots of family celebrations.

ETA:
Here's video of the guests and the royals entering the church. Meghan's hair is pulled back into a long, straight ponytail and she giggles at something Archbishop Welby says just before she and Harry enter the church:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIMLkAuQt7w

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RezdffFONX4 This video shows family and guests entering and later exiting the church. As they are leaving, the Duchess of Cornwall fans herself with her program and mutters something to Meghan, likely about feeling warm.

Not sure about Kate’s head piece thing at the christening today! Looked like she’s channeling Anne Boleyn!

Kate, William, George and Charlotte arrive at Louis’ christening

https://dailym.ai/2J7b8pn

My thought exactly! That said, they all look healthy and happy (as much as one can tell from photos) so I am not too fussed about the headgear!

ETA: I think this is the first time I have seen a photo of Charlotte with a centre part. It changes her look quite a bit!

I do wonder if Kate will be at the Wimbledon finals, especially if England somehow manages to make it to the World Cup finals. Maybe she and Meghan can do that and let William and Harry freak out back at home.

Well, this poster is the foremost world authority on the British royals and the more than foremost authority on Ms. Markle (seriously, does s/he have a file of screenshots of that stupid blog?). So it stands to reason that s/he is also an authority on the interpretation of statistics, so don't you dare question it!

Interesting videos I came across that give insights into Meghan's personality and her relationship with Prince Harry from friend, Janina Gavankar, and former friend & p.r. manager Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne. It's fascinating how Gavankar describes Meghan as low-maintenance and how Meghan fell for Prince Harry's down-to-earth personality. Still, the trappings of wealth make high-style living, acquiring a great education, and spending low-maintenance time camping out under the stars in an exclusive African locale, possible. :p

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeMk5-rrhUw

Meanwhile, although Meghan's Instagram was erased, someone screen-capped the photos (it wasn't me btw :p):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXlZtmZ8F6k

It's fun looking back. Meghan put together such a classy, elegant, and well-curated Instagram. It seems like she was living a very happy and a busy life with friends, fun and hard work. The photos show how much she loves her dogs, her Mom, food, flowers, life, travel, handwritten notes, encouraging quotes, her career, and all her friends, especially Markus, Misha, Lindsay, and Jessica, as well as Suits cast members. Well now, the Suits cast Meghan has left behind and hopefully her closest friends will remain. Surely she misses her dog, Bogart, but he's with good friends (possibly Benita Litt in California, whose daughters were in the royal wedding).

The picture Meghan posted of Hillary Clinton at the Democratic convention is there around 17:40. A number of the inspirational quotes Meghan posted stand out, including:

Don't let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace

In a world where you can be anything, be kind

If it's both terrifying and amazing, you should definitely pursue it

Ironically, the Dragonette singer, Martina Sorbara, whose picture playing the guitar in a tribute to Meghan is one of the final posts, is now in a relationship with Meghan's former boyfriend, Cory Vitiello, and is reportedly pregnant with their first child. Meghan is probably happy for them both.

I also read recently that there may have been other members of Meghan's family invited to the wedding, but that they sat in the nave in order to preserve their privacy, and that they were likely at the evening after-party. It's suggested that these discreet family guests included her 34-year-old uncle, Joffrey Alvin Ragland and his wife, and Meghan's neice, Ashleigh Hale (Samantha Markle's estranged eldest daughter).

If England do make the final I wouldn't be surprised if William goes to the match being that he is the President of the English FA.

I noticed that. I like her hair swept to the side better. Still, she's adorable as always!

This Daily Mail article has pictures of the young royals (Kate, William, Meghan, Harry) at a Royal Air Force centennial event today. Both ladies look quite stunning!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/a...kle-joins-Royal-family-Westminster-Abbey.html

Actually if you look closely Meghan's dress is dark navy not black as the article states. Black would not have been appropriate for that sort of celebration. It actually matches the hat. Both she and Kate looked lovely as did HM. In fact all the members of the royal party looked fabulous as all the men wore their uniforms to honour the 100 years of the RAF.

Can report that traffic is light here right now so Harry and Meghan must still be waiting on an Aircoach from the airport.

Meghan has the most exquisite bone structure in her face. She really hit it out of the park with this dress. It is most definitely navy, not black.

The black or navy & the olive at the christening were to me strange selections for daywear in mid-summer. I liked both outfits but they looked jarring against everyone else's pastels.

Yep Meghan is wearing a navy dress, but I guess the color showed up darker in some initial photos. It looks like Meghan decided to try and match Prince Harry's uniform. I love the cut and styling of the dress, especially the flared skirt and hemline length. I also really like Meghan's hat/ fascinator. I do wish Meghan had chosen a bit brighter blue instead, or a slight couple of shades lighter navy. Duchess Kate was in a neutral light blue. I actually love Kate's look and color choice somewhat better, except that Kate's hat doesn't have as much flair.

I would like to see Meghan's dress in a shade similar to the sash color on William's uniform and Harry's ribbons, although I can see Meghan probably was staying away from picking up any colors similar to what the Queen wore.

I think I'd be okay with the color choice of Meghan's dress if it was fitting her better around the bust area. It seems to be pinching her slightly in the bodice and to my eyes it doesn't look well-fitted there. The seams coming up from the waist are puckering slightly, especially on the right side. The puckering can be seen in the first two pictures in the below link:
http://madaboutmeghan.blogspot.com/

And in the second picture here:
http://meghansmirror.com/royal-style/memorial-events/meghan-harry-join-the-royal-family-for-raf-100/

Aside from my reservations about the fit and Meghan's choice of an overly dark color, I think the Dior dress' styling is gorgeous. Meghan is such a beautiful lady. And the fab four are always looking good together. They all seem to be in great spirits. The royal ladies in general didn't seem to coordinate much this time. The Countess of Wessex was in white, the Princess Royal in beige and brown, Princess Michael in red & black, the Duchess of Gloucester in navy, etc. Here's a video of the day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv_ppsrN_50

ETA: In the above video, the fab four exit their vehicles around 4:11, shake a few hands, smile and say a few words to each other and then enter the church. At about 4:54, we see the back of Duchess Kate's lovely light blue coat dress, which has a stunning center pleat on the back. Of course, Duchess Kate is a pro at this royal sartorial game by now.

I see some comments online that peple were divided over what Meghan wore yesterday but tend to love her outfit today. I'm nonplussed about the reactions, because I thought what Meghan wore yesterday was quite lovely. I didn't see any problems with it. The color choice was unusual but it was a fairly light olive color and everything was on pointe with monochrome light olive from head-to-toe, and the right hemline length for her IMO. Today, as I said, Meghan looks fine, especially with the gorgeous styling, cut and flared hemline of the dress, matched by a delightful headgear fascinator. But there's something wrong with the fit of her dress in the bodice area, and I would have liked to see her in a bit brighter teal blue or slightly lighter navy blue (of course something that wouldn't clash with what the Queen wore).

First pictures are up on the below blog of Duke & Duchess of Sussex landed in Dublin, Ireland:
http://madaboutmeghan.blogspot.com/

Meghan is wearing a body-hugging skirt with a scoop neckline sweater top, both in dark matching shades of teal or forest green, with tan suede stiletto pumps, bare legs, and a brown handbag. Wow, I love the pocket detail on her skirt, and the back slit. Her hair is up and slicked back with a side part, and a side bun. Effortless elan, which actually takes planning and forethought. [Actually, it's the same hairstyle as earlier in the day. We can just see it better without a hat].
Absolutely gorgeous and yummy-looking styling ... :rollin: :encore:

The below site says the forest green outfit is by Givenchy:

They do look lovely. Meghan's dress still does not fit well between bust and waist. With what her dresses cost I can't imagine she can't get them fitted correctly. Love the belt at the waist.

I actually really like that dress. First thing I've seen on her that I really like. If they were at some evening event like a reception honoring some group or another at one of the palaces, I'd be here to say that Meghan finally nailed it. But the bateau neckline combined with the classic Dior full skirt and the very stiff fabric that makes the skirt stand out so much leaves me saying, uh, sweetheart, you wore a party dress to church. Why did you do that?

She seems to be struggling with matching the outfit to the event. Asking someone for a bit of advice in that regard would not be so hard.
