I don't usually like to be one to read too much into simple statements, or think that everything has a hidden meaning, but I admit to being concerned by Prince Charles' comments today. This thing about "he's being well looked after, that's all we know for now" doesn't sound like "simple observation of a pre-existing condition." It sounds like "something is wrong and they're trying to figure out what it is." I don't know, I mean, anytime an elderly person goes into hospital there is cause for concern, but this feels extra concerning. I've lost two grandparents at Christmas time (different Christmases), and it's hard. It's hard anytime, but it's especially hard at Christmas.

Archie is one cute baby. Not really sure who he is resembling yet. And who hasn't had a kid push their face up to the camera like that. ?

My only little winge is the B&W picture. I guess Meghan loves B&W which is why we have seen so many released by them but I would love to have seen that picture in colour.

Hopefully they have resolved what the issue was though as Prince Charles said at that age things don't always work as one would like. Hopefully he - and the Queen - have a good Christmas.

And the Cambridge’s photo has terrible lighting plus we’ve only seen photos of the photo.

Not a great year for cards on those two fronts. Charles and Camilla’s is awesome anyway.

Coloring is a big factor for most people in establishing who someone looks like. Red hair, a complexion between both parents, and brown eyes seems like a real possibility to me.

Oh - thank G-d someone said that! I was too chicken. That is just a horrid picture of the baby. The angle makes the (what I am sure is a sweet face) look like an alien.

And, I was wondering about the Cambridge photo is adorable, but I think you are right about the lighting. I thought my computer just didn't wasn't showing the image very well.

And Charles and Camilla's picture is lovely.

Me too. We have a few friends who send out photo Christmas cards and I always enjoy seeing the photos they choose.
