He was most certainly a bigger than life movie star- probably the last true one. I know he regretted doing it but I loved his infamous photo spread in Cosmopolitain .

Such a chilling and unforgettable film. Burt Reynolds played his part to perfection.

I liked him in BLWIT, the Cannonball Run movies, and Boogie Nights and Striptease. His elder years were kind of tragic, with bankruptcies, divorce. One thing he made a major impact on was men getting plastic surgery and how to avoid what he had done to himself. He was the Wildenstein for Men cautionary tale.
