I finally watched Fleabag... I went into it with a slight negative bias just because it has been so highly hyped and that tends to annoy me, but it is really deserving. The first season was good but the second season was really spectacular - the hot priest storyline was everything it's been said to be and more. It's interesting because Andrew Scott is an actor that I didn't like in Sherlock - but he was absolutely perfect in this, and he had to be for the storyline to work.

We've come super close to watching this but haven't been able to push the button. Do you know any men who watch it?

I had watched the first episode of the first season of Fleabag a year or two ago and wasn't hooked. When the second season came around, what got me to go back and watch both seasons was a (male) DJ on the radio singing its praises.

Anyone watching The Boys on Amazon Prime? I was a fan of Supernatural and saw that Erik Kripke had created this series so I gave it a shot. It's about superheros gone bad and a couple of regular guys are trying to expose their corruption.

I'm only a couple episodes in but I like it so far. One of the guys was holding his girlfriend's hands when she was run through by A-Train (the equivalent of The Flash). They had her literally explode in a gush of red goo and gore. So be prepared for some gross but it was also kind of funny at the same time if you have a sick sense of humor.

If anyone is interested in a dark Chinese crime show (or, like me, want to improve their Chinese), I highly recommend Day and Night on Netflix.

I loved 'Fleabag' So fun and I am now a big Phoebe Waller Bridge fan. Whole cast was fab.
Just watched 'Vanity Fair' on Prime - Becky Sharp played by a new comer - very good. Well done and love the music on the ending credits. 7 hours - went by quickly. I love period pieces.

Did any of the other Fleabag watchers feel like there was something very Mark Ruffalo-esque about Andrew Scott's priest character (sans the accent of course!)?

I've been enjoying Modern Love on Amazon Prime. I've watched half the episodes. They are all different stories with different actors, etc. It's nice you don't feel the need to binge watch the whole thing since it's not a continuing story.

Excited to watch Atypical S3 on Netflix tonight!

I was looking forward to Looking for Alaska on Hulu, but after the first two episodes I just couldn't get into any of the characters. I skipped ahead to the last two episodes just to see how it would end.

Apple TV + debuted yesterday and I checked out See and Morning Show. I liked Both although See was more my style. As of now there seems to be no separate app just for Apple streaming and most of the stuff belongs to someone else and is available at an extra cost. So I am not quite sure it is worth it yet but perhaps in time they will build up their library of content. But it is baby steps in the right direction.

Finished See but it looks like for now the show is only three episodes and I can find no other information about it as of yet. Hopefully more is to come.

I signed up to Apple TV + today and then immediately cancelled as soon as I realised it seems only a very very small number of originals are included in the subscription and there's actually no other content.

If I'm mistaken on that, please let me know. I'm just confused as to why they have a streaming app with only about 9 shows on it and no movies or other content. Unless one was dying to watch the tiny handful original shows they have on, I don't see the point of it. I think it's kind of weird.

No you are not wrong. I am puzzled too but hopefully they will get their act together soon.

Got my fist look at Disney+ and no competition! :cheer2: It is fantastic! But being in Canada means we don’t get Hulu and ESPN. :(

Interesting! Apple + was a total disappointment so I am curious about the Disney one. Although Australia seems to get a lot less content than North America on streaming.

I’m curious as to what is on the Disney one. Is it more than Disney movies?

Disney movies, some classic cartoons, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic content, and Marvel. From what I see so far they have a lot of good stuff although I have properly explore the app Yet. But I did see episode one of The Mandalorian and it is good enough to keep me interested but I liked See better. However Apple+ and Disney+ are both dropping one episode a week of their premium series.

Disney+ doesn't yet work on my relatively new TV because they haven't given permission for the app yet, and it isn't allowed to be casted. It won't work at the moment on my laptop either, just saying an error has occurred once logged in. I guess I'm going to settle for my phone for now. :D

Full list:

BTW- I upgraded my iPhone when the 11's were announced and I get a free year of Apple+ TV, but yeah it's pretty minimal at this point.

Well, I can get in via the Firestick, but I can't add profiles or change the profile icon. Baby steps!

ETA Woot! Profiles are done, and we're ready to go!
