Gosh. 12.500 for Yoder. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him!
Yes I did! I'm afraid I got shook up with that score!I think you meant Sam....Yoder wasn't perfect but that definitely wasn't his score, LOL![]()
Right now does the US have a realistic shot at bronze in Tokyo? Or no?

With Arthur being injured (still crying as he’s my fav by far) and not doing the AA, I think Russia will be a bit of a wildcard in the team event. I still expect them to medal though…. a LOT will have to go right for them/mistakes from others for the US team to medal.
didn’t mean to write this. Sorry!
Since only three compete and three scores count on each event, it's not always the best decision by default. But since Sam has the highest floor and second highest high bar, he has the most to offer of the people still fighting for spots (especially since Yul will definitely not want his score counted on high bar AND Shane is basically a for-sure and likely won't compete floor).Sam finished 4th, so I feel like he earned his spot. Unless people think he was overscored. I'm not in teknik enough on men's gymnastics to know.
They keep mentioning his elbow and then said something about his wrist during pommels.Doesn't Sam have a lot of injuries?
He has that “floating bone in his elbow” that can cause him painDoesn't Sam have a lot of injuries?

At a minimum, he has a floating bone chip in one of his elbows.Doesn't Sam have a lot of injuries?
He's probably only going to be good for two events if he gets named. I think that will work to his advantage, and Yul's high bar being so far behind makes a strong case for Sam, too.Doesn't Sam have a lot of injuries?
