I won't be that upset if it's Sam but he hasn't been perfect throughout this whole process and he does have the history of choking when it counts (which I've lived and died through over all these years).

We’ve only heard him for 10 seconds, and I agree. And I’ll never complain about Rusty again. He’s great compared to this bizarre act LOL
They are really covering their bases I guess, but yeah that's a lot of alternatesThat’s a LOT of traveling alternates.
AleC Yoder is going for pommel.I have horrible memory. What specialist event is Alex Yoder going in?

The "evil" pommel horseI have horrible memory. What specialist event is Alex Yoder going in?
AleC Yoder is going for pommel.

He won't be able to compete for the team. Just the prelims in the hopes of making the EF.So does he compete in the team event for pommel or can he only do the event finals?
Probably as crud insurance. From what I’m hearing, a lot of the athletes haven’t gotten vaccinated for fear that side effects would interrupt their training.I'm surprised they're taking so many to Tokyo (esp with YKW
Yikes. Hope they all stay crud-free.Probably as crud insurance. From what I’m hearing, a lot of the athletes haven’t gotten vaccinated for fear that side effects would interrupt their training.
For me, it is just his demonstrated inconsistency with international competitions. I’m also looking to get the younger generation experience since ther is just the 3 yrs before Paris.Since most of you are down on Sam, I'm going to cheer for him.
then they should have done better this time. There's no guarantee any athlete will still be competiting in the future. Based on criteria, he earned the spot. For me, it is just his demonstrated inconsistency with international competitions. I know he earned his spot, it’s just my anxiety level exponentially increases when he competes. ?then they should have done better this time. There's no guarantee any athlete will still be competiting in the future. Based on criteria, he earned the spot.
Sadly I don’t think there’s enough time. He was still doing some events (rings, high bar, etc.) at The Russian Cup a few weeks ago without a true dismount. As much as I’d love to see him back contending in the AA, I don’t think he should risk his future health by attempting vault and floor too soon.So is Daloloyan definitely out for AA then? I was hoping he could recover in time.
