Well, I like the junior team that did Crack of Doom at the gala at Junior Worlds just 2 weeks ago (Netjaga/Gaidajenko). But the truth is that they're gonna have to develop their tech a little bit.

Bunina/Gruzdev had promise, did they not? Or did they break up?

Georgia really did a good job recruiting Russians with Georgian surnames. Their dance team is great and their lady and pair are pretty passable. AZE has a lot of catching up to do to skaters that can make the minimums.

Yes, I think so too. Reviya's patronymic makes me think that his father was probably from Georgia and the name Luka Berulava sounds v. v. Georgian to me. OTOH I think Alina Urushadze has had a more multi-generational journey from Georgia but she's definitely got the surname to pass!
