FSU Watch Party Sunday #2: 2010 Olympics FD [3pm CDT/9pm CET]

Delusion is all that matters.
Realistically there is only one spot left open for the team event. So I am totally on board with 🇪🇪 :cheer:
But I guess 🇬🇪 or 🇦🇿 might have the better cards in the end!
I'm more realistic about EST for 2026! :kickass:

Also GEO :P ( )

Well, I like the junior team that did Crack of Doom at the gala at Junior Worlds just 2 weeks ago (Netjaga/Gaidajenko). :drama: But the truth is that they're gonna have to develop their tech a little bit. :shuffle:
Bunina/Gruzdev had promise, did they not? Or did they break up?

Georgia really did a good job recruiting Russians with Georgian surnames. Their dance team is great and their lady and pair are pretty passable. AZE has a lot of catching up to do to :bribe: skaters that can make the minimums.

To be fair, based on some Facebook stalking I've come to the conclusion that his family (or at least some of it) really is from Georgia.

Not that that really makes a difference.

Thanks for the FD music. So much better than all this lyrical snot lately.

Eeek, big stumble from Allison in the steps.

OK I have to admit I kinda liked this. :shuffle: Or maybe it's just the Hanna'20 GEO fan speaking our of solidarity.

Allison always had a mature look, but imagine being at the Olympics when you were a couple of years younger than any of the girls who were on this year's Junior World podium.

Whoops, just got called away. Hope I'm back in time for a few of the top teams. Have fun, you all!

Yes, I think so too. Reviya's patronymic makes me think that his father was probably from Georgia and the name Luka Berulava sounds v. v. Georgian to me. OTOH I think Alina Urushadze has had a more multi-generational journey from Georgia but she's definitely got the surname to pass!
