If I had a young child I would sign him/her up at that age with Mishin. At least they will learn proper technique that will last a lifetime. I just do not think someone that young should be in Eteri's camp. I have seen how supportive and kind she is to her daughter, so I am not saying she is a bad person at all just in case I seemed that way. I say get the kids trained with proper technique, and if they are good enough, then send them to Eteri. I hope my post did not come across anti-Eteri. I am sorry if it appeared that way.

First years kids that are age 5 to 8 train with Rozanov and other assistant coaches. Eteri/Dudakov only check on progress and give some input.

Interview with Nikita Bespalov who is a well-known athlete in Russia. His daughter left Plushenko school and went to the Sambo .https://www.sports.ru/figure-skating/1065942921.html

a part of the interview
google translate

"-... We why Varya from the school Plushenko was taken as a result? There they gave the children celebration, and they were treated calmly. Do not force if they do not do something. There was no rigor. Staying with them is wasting time. It's too early to go to the elders. We just changed school, now we are training in Sambo-70, where Zagitova and Medvedev were engaged. There's really tough discipline.

I remember myself at the age of Vary. And the mat knew everything, and the ass was red from hitting with a stick. But they demand from you. So, when they shout, Varya suffers, and the next day goes to training. She likes. While it is pleasant - let it be engaged. Suddenly it will, - Bespalov said."

So they left Plushenko school as they did not beat her daughter? Interesting concept.

If so, good for Plushenko then.

I know you can't tell something like that from random videos, but I love the videos his IG posts of him working and at competitions with the kids.

I'm watching him for years on master classes. There are many videos about his master classes on YT. He is humble, patient, funny, cute and can motivate the children... and not just the kids, but Jouber and Verner ,too. :lol:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNMsyOA0EtA

Apparently Zhulin has been in a "civil marriage" with Mikhailova for 8 years...what is this then, just a church ceremony?
It's "church", justice of the peace/official marriage certificate/few days later official reception. They made it "official/formal" instead of "cohabitation partners".

Does it say anything about her condition. My granddaughter loved her when she was at DSC several years ago.
https://www.fsrussia.ru/news/3807-anzhelika-krylova-vse-normalno.html
It was a relatively minor (no injury) collision, on Monday, a route-bus hit her car. Krylova and others involved all went home that evening and did not want to go to the hospital. But next day on Tuesday at the end of the day, when she was done with her coaching practices, she decided to check with the doctor, because her head and neck were sore and she did not feel well.

The doctors did a complete exam/check-up, and found nothing wrong. Nothing is broken or punctured, just bang/hit/impact on the head. Doctors wanted to keep her at the hospital for few days under observation, but Krylova said she is not planning to stay that long, because she must continue her work/projects (before test skates, supposedly).

So they left Plushenko school as they did not beat her daughter? Interesting concept.
not quite as you put it:
https://www.sports.ru/figure-skating/1065942921.html in a nut-shell (from this article, and 2 previous ones during last 4-5 months on the same subject which were not posted on FSU).
- Plushenko's school is expensive, most schools like his are expensive with hidden costs, but only Plushenko honestly states the total costs.
- Plushenko's school is pretty much ran like a play-ground for celebrities' kids. It's easy going.
- There is no "competitive results" discipline, if a kid does not want to do or learn something, coaches lets him/her.
- For those who are seeking athletic results, his school is too "soft". It is very nice for recreation, but it is a VERY expensive "recreation skating".
- In the above article, the specific speaker said: (since we want results) the school is a waist of time (not strict enough, no discipline). We took Varya to Sambo-70 (where med/zag trained), it has strict discipline.
- Father speaking: "I remember my training when i was my daughter's age. We handled/learned all the curse words, we had bruises on our butts (from bumping/scraping each other with hockey sticks during practice). But you were required to train (coaches demanded from you). So, when coaches scold, Varya takes it, and next days comes to train again. She likes it. And as long as she likes it, she'll keep training. Perhaps she can make it".
