Her biggest issue is her poor posture.
and lack of extension in arms a legs...Her face is acting out the story now but her body position is tight...It is sort of like a jump by numbers.Zheyna was also lacking a bit earlier but she has worked very hard to turn into an artist in the last 2 yrs.

Kostornaia's skating is so beautiful. Why couldn't there have been a classic layback position?

I think Trusova being able to do 3 different quads is amazing, and a great athletic achievement but the two I really enjoy watching are Kostornaia and Scherbakova. They move so beautifully on the ice.

Kanysheva has a lot of potential. But she seemed to have less ice coverage than the top juniors here.

I've mainly been a Scherbakova fan, but Trusova has really grown on me. I found her skating very jerky when she first started with Tutberidze's group, but she has really improved her skating skills while developing a bit of an avant-garde vibe. Her tech content is so insane that her FS doesn't seem like more than one long jump setup, but her SP totally rocks.

Nathan Chen must be relieved that he won't ever have to face her in anything other than team competitions.

 Nathan never has to face Trusova head-to-head, unless the ISU decides to create something like a mixed-gender 'match-race' quad battle. :blah: And doesn't Trusova remain in Juniors anyway until she's age-eligible. :drama: :p

Do we have videos of the junior guys too? Murashov anyone?
#askingforafriend :shuffle:

You know very few people care about the junior boys :shuffle: He didn't do all that well.

LP:
Murashov again more falls: 3A (fall), 3Lo (stepout), 2A, (stumble on step sequence), 3A (fall), 2Lz-eu-(nothing), 3Lz (hand on the ice), (he fell on another jump but not sure what it was)

^^ :) the one with Trusova and her chihuahua! A perfect match.

You know very few people care about the junior boys :shuffle: He didn't do all that well.

Why? Not even Makar Ignatov? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yb0_JIaFh8w&feature=youtu.be What about Erokhov, Savosin, and Skirda? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13pmxtCt66g Have they all moved up to seniors?

LP:
Murashov again more falls: 3A (fall), 3Lo (stepout), 2A, (stumble on step sequence), 3A (fall), 2Lz-eu-(nothing), 3Lz (hand on the ice), (he fell on another jump but not sure what it was)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIvXj4urVac I wish I could understand what TAT is saying in Russian!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBT7uPAVC2g Raw & very creative; lots of on-ice personality

Get Egor some ballet training. Send him to Raf immediately! Get new programs choreographed by TAT. I know Egor needs to apply himself too, but he's still young enough to learn and to develop better basic skills and good training habits. His potential is too dynamic to see it go to waste for lack of expert guidance. :(

ETA:
Or maybe Urmanov or Kulik could help him. :drama:

Oh, yeah.... just imagine the costumes.... :saint:

I know what you're thinking! But there is another "classier" way. There's a Broadway show called The Apple Tree made by the same people who made Fiddler on the Roof. It's a musical consisting of three stories, and the first story is an adaptation of Mark Twain's The Diary of Eve. The way the last Broadway production costumed Eve and Adam was basically in simple white outfits with simple silhouettes (her in a strapped white dress with a short skirt and him in a white collared polo shirt with white pants). So they could do it that way. Or...they could do what Krylova/Ponomarenko did in 1988.
