DWTS Season 25

IMO the right person went home. Huge props for all Victoria has accomplished, but the last few weeks she's barely danced - tonight most of her first dance was spent standing around and half her second one was spent sitting.

Also, the clip package for the jive was the first time Jordan really showed personality. Loved it!

She had been experiencing terrible muscle spasms; probably exaggerated by the amount of activity done while training/dancing.

I think the elimination was the right one. I am surprised that I have been interested in a cast of individuals that were unknown to me. Jordan is amazing.Drew is clunky. I adore Frankie he tries so hard. I think Lindsey will be the runnerup but would have won it other seasons.

Every season I think "I don't know these people" but I watch anyway & end up really liking the cast. And it's great exposure for the lesser known celebs.

I'm not a fan of Property Brothers but I've been impressed with Drew's commitment & passion. His show's fans are obviously voting for him but I haven't really enjoyed most of his dances. I feel that he should be less clunky by now.

I've liked Jordan & Frankie from the start. Jordan because he's so good & Frankie because he's so adorable. I want them to finish 1-2. I disagree that Lindsey could have won it in other seasons. IMO Mark has been carrying her for weeks. His choreography is so good that it makes her look better than she is. I was not impressed with her last night.

I think it was unfair to make anyone try to do something that Goddess Meryl did! I hope they do another all-star season and get her back.

That's what I said as I was watching it. Lindsey was really good, but she might has well have sucked given the comparison.

I don't want Meryl to do an all-star season. She was amazing the first time and won. I want to see Charlie come back and get all the attention he deserves.

Good point re Charlie. I always felt he left too soon. He should have been 2nd or 3rd at least. Meryl could come back to do the trio dance. How's that?
I find that Lindsey's hair is driving me bonkers. I expect odd from Mark but hers looks like straw on steroids!

Me, too re my lack of knowledge about the "celebs." The only one I knew was Drew. The show has a way of making one care about the cast members.... until they are eliminated and then I forget about them immediately. Was there a female wrestler at one point? And a tall football player?

They really are trying to screw Drew, I think, giving him a Corbin Bleu dance. How about giving him a dance with a former tall winner, someone with a similar body type!

The trio featuring Jenna really pissed me off, but the Charleston number was good, I thought and worth 9s.

Lol....l’ve been trying to figure out how to get my hair to look like hers! :D

YES! I'm always distracted by it. It's so floofy, and not in a natural way.
I (almost) always love Mark's choreography, but I feel like this year he's given us very few 'straight' dances. Too many gimmicks.
She's a good dancer, but IMO not fantastic. I feel like if they win it will be because of Mark.

Based on dancing skill, Jordan is the obvious pick, and I'd absolutely love a Lindsay win. She's the strongest choreographer on the show right now IMO. But to some Jordan seems too 'plastic' and doesn't connect with many. Like I said in a previous post, I felt like his clip package before his jive was the first time he showed personality all season. He's been getting my vote since week 1, though.

Based on likability, Frankie is the one to beat for me. He's just so adorkable and loves the contest so much. And he's doing so well for someone who isn't in a field requiring musical timing. I usually give all but one or two of my votes to Jordan, then the rest to Frankie. If he wins, I'd be okay with it, though I'd prefer him to be second.

My preference for Lindsey is third. I'd be okay with her winning or coming second, but I don't find her completely sincere a lot of the time, and IMO her skills aren't as great as they're made out to be (though she's definitely better than I'd be).

If Drew knocks any of the others out of the final three, there's something seriously wrong. His dancing isn't strong enough to be there, and his likability isn't high enough to get him there either - not like David Ross was last year.

Well I do almost nothing to my hair now - I've never been able to put random braids in it, which is what I would really like to do. :glamor:

Lindsey's crazy hair is part of her act. It's nutso in her earliest videos. My guess is she's a @quartz or she's colored it so much that it's all straw like and unmanageable. Whatever the reason, she owns it.

Apparently Jordan has had to miss some practice to get his eye checked out - scratched cornea.

For the finale Tuesday, after all the dancing is done, apparently viewers will be able to do a last minute online-only vote for their favourites. That could REALLY shake things up, I bet.

For the 'redemption' dances, all teams have been given a judge, with Julianne back as a guest judge, and the redemption judge for Lindsey and Mark (who will be doing the quickstep).
Jordan and Lindsay have Len (Charleston)
Drew and Emma have Bruno (Paso Doble)
Frankie and Witney have Carrie Ann (Foxtrot).

Interesting to make some guesses on freestyles based on song choices:
Drew/Emma: “The Ding Dong Daddy of the D-car Line” by the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies
Jordan/Lindsay: “Puttin’ on the Ritz 2017” Jazzy Mix by Taco
Lindsey/Mark: “Remember the Name” by Fort Minor/”Palladio” by Escala (Medley)
Frankie/Witney: “Run Boy Run” by Woodkid

And in non-finale news, apparently Emma and Sasha had to postpone their wedding, but are getting into the thick of planning. Emma says she'll be in a strange bridezilla mode during the DWTS tour.

I was so glad to see Paige & Mark's jive and Meryl & Maks' tango as two of the memorable dance replicas. There's only a handful of DWTS dances that I'll periodically watch again on YouTube, and those two are on my rather short list (others including Stacy Kiebler's rhumba, Kristi's jive, Apollo & Julianne's quickstep).

I can't believe this season is already over next week. Seemed to fly by a lot faster than usual.

Frankie promised us Frank Sinatra, that wasn't Frank Sinatra.

And I agree about Frankie - clearly not the best dancer, but so sweet.

I love Frankie's joy, but didn't love that dance.

I can legitimately see any of him, Lindsey, or Jordan winning, and none would upset me, though Jordan is by far my favourite. I don't know if he's getting the fan votes, though, since people don't seem to like 'stars' that have dance experience (even if that experience isn't in ballroom).

No he’s not the best dancer but I think he, more than anyone this season has grown in confidence and spirit.
