DWTS Season 21 cast rumors....anyone?

Leah used the word "amazing" four times in her 30 second interview with Hayes and Emma. Her interview, not so amazing.

:D:D Hayes saying he had never seen Grease with Olivia Newton John as guest judge

What was the movie Louie and Paula Deen were suppose to represent? My husband refused to watch the woman so we had to change the channel for the routine.

She was doing Madonna's performance of Vogue from the MTV Awards.

Nobody's doing much pure dancing tonight, but it's pretty entertaining!

It doesn't have to be a movie. It is supposed to be an iconic performance. Alexa and Mark also channeled the MTV Awards and Tamar and Val reenacted a music video.

I don't like Andy and Allison, but they were awesome tonight. I think what helped is that they were constantly changing styles, so he didn't spend more than 10 seconds in any particular kind of dance, which really helped hide his flaws.

Carlos' dance was very difficult. And hot. He did really well with the wardrobe malfunction!

Tamar blew my mind. She was amazing, so I'm happy she got to stick around.

Alek didn't recreate the dance at all, except for the set and his costume. I expected to see more Elvis moves.

Nick and Sharna did so damn well at blending disco and samba (though I don't know why they didn't just give them disco as their style for the week...)

I thought the judges were a bit harsh on Alexa. I thought she did pretty well with recreating Britney's performance. And her genuine reaction at being in the bottom - you can tell she really wants to be there.

Bindi had the best fluff piece of the week. They did well but nowhere in there was there any rumba. And Carrie Ann didn't take off her usual points for lifts!

Hayes was a bit overmarked. Emma's costume was flawless, though.

Paula did well for what she did, which was just basically moving her arms around. Louis has nice legs, though!

I was most impressed this week with how well so many of the stars did with such long solo dances. Carlos essentially had a solo, Nick had a lot of solo, Alexa had a lot of solo. And Tamar was in a group dance, but it was all her.

I saw an interview with Paula and Louis with the All Access crew this morning. Paula was very gracious about her time on the show. She was very complimentary about Louis' coaching. She did her dig in by saying it was tough to be 68 and competing against a 15 and a 17 year old.

I thought lifts were allowed in Latin dances just not in standard dances and isn't the Rhumba Latin?

I agreed with all the judges scores an commentary an glad it was Paula going home along with Louis who I think is the least talented of the choreographers, might be a good dancer but that's it. I think Bindi is doing the best..

@4rkidz Louis is a successful choreographer. He does need something to work with, though. Unfortunately, Paula was stuck on keeping time and getting the correct foot to go where it was supposed to go.

Perhaps, but I also wasn't impressed when it was the switch week, maybe I just don't like his style, it's too fluffy for me an lacking in substance for the contestant..

I like Bindi but I would put her 2nd or 3rd. She has the best pro which makes it hard to really critique her separately but IMO Carlos is the best, followed by Alexa or Bindi. Or Andy. Carlos's Magic Mike dance was unbelievable. BTW I think it was awful for the PTB to make him do a routine that was against his values. I was glad he was able to turn it into something that was awesome but not raunchy.

If anyone goes and actually watches the movie, the dance is NOT a rhumba (which is not even the correct name for the rhythm that bears that name), but a mambo.

One thing I was disappointed about with Derek/Bindi's dance is they basically just copied the dance from the movie. Most of the others tried to incorporate parts of the dance with their own choreography. For example, Hayes and Emma had a lot of the iconic moves from Grease, but put into their own dance. And Nick and Sharna perfectly blended the styles in their dance. Derek basically did no choreography for that dance.

ita. that dance was so boring. derek's choreography is much better. i wonder if he did that because he thought that so many people like the movie and they would prefer it over something new?

I'm going to guess that they allowed for a lift because the lift is a pretty iconic moment in the original dance. A good portion of the a few of the scenes of the movie is the will she or won't she with the lift.

Of course, when they did the performance at the other hotel, she didn't do the lift. She said several times, "I didn't do the lift." Then, in the finale, she nailed it. :barrel

I get the effects of the smoke an all ... but I hate it! It covers up their footwork to see if they are in synch and doing it correctly.

And oh look ... we gettin' some Carmina ........

I call for a ban on smoke!!

Bindi was (IMO) by far the best dance. Her movements are just so sharp and her extension is great. I also really liked Carlos (he's probably my favourite).

I like Alexa but I thought she was a bit overmarked this week. I thought maybe 8s for that performance. Her hands were weird and it seemed like she was trying a bit too hard which threw her off quite a bit.

Team Nightmare totally deserved that win. That was amazing!!! I thought Andy and Tamar were the weakest of the group (since they didn't do any solo dancing in it, just lifts) but nobody stood out as the awesome one or the crappy one. Everything was just awesome!
