I seem to recall that this was one of Jay Leno's biggest peeves as well. Every time I see animals in costumes, I think about him.

I don't think cats like wearing clothes at all! Dogs may not mind a bandana or a t-shirt - some dogs like to have something warm around their body when it's cold outside, particularly their mid-sections.

But I'm sure dogs must hate wearing shoes, as they sweat through their pads SFAIK.
