Cute Zoo Pics Part 7

Update #4: The two cubs are still doing great in San Diego! :D

Those animal toys they have though........

Update #5: The Rescue Cub is still on formula and the Sumatran Cub (remember originally from the National Zoo in DC) is steadily on solid food.

I don’t know if the Rescue Cub is still on formula purely because he is a tad younger or if it’s because he was so thin when he was rescued at the border. :( Two or three pages back, I posted links with pictures of him when he was rescued. You can also see all the pictures on San Diego Zoo Safari Park’s Instagram page.

And both cubs are now big enough spend some time at the Tiger Trail. :)

If anyone is following the CIA, they have been doing a series on their K9 training.

Tomorrow, they will be showing their newest “recruit”. I’m guessing that they always use purebred Labs.

But I’ve always hoped that this was the case - What happens to puppy recruits when they’re not a fit for the CIA. I’m glad Lulu was adopted by her handler and that the CIA (& other agencies) understand what’s best for the dogs.
I visited a max-security prison last week (field trip for a class). They have a program that begins the training for dogs to become helpers for disabled folks. Those who don't "graduate" are offered to families as super-duper well-trained pets.
