Hearing about the way he inserted himself into the life of Dennis Wilson by literally violating every form of personal rights, space, and property always creeps me out. Dennis Wilson literally abandoned his home to get away.

Normally I'm opposed to the death penalty, but this vile and miserable excuse for a human being has been graced with too many years of life.

It should have happened years ago, but due to the Cali death penalty being ruled unconstitutional back then by the US Supreme Court, he and his "family" were commuted to Life. One member of the family tries annually to get out on parole, sometime she is going to be successful, thanks to fading memories of the random horror they did.

California has since reimplemented the DP. But, it is seldom used.

No matter your view re DP, this was one cockroach that should have been smashed years ago.

It is also that the alternatives have changed. Back in Manson's day, the unconstitutionality of the then-existing death penalty statute triggered the sole alternative -- life with the possibility of parole -- which is why Manson's followers can try on a regular basis. Now, the alternative to a death sentence is life without the possibility of parole.

They should have transferred him and his cult to Louisiana State Penitentiary from the very beginning. He would have been executed by the Electric Chair called Gruesome Gertie especially if it was before 1991 when they stopped using it. He could have been fried for what he did then, too. At least he'll fry at his new home where there's fire and brimstone.

I lived in Los Angeles when these crimes happened & I am very close in age to The Manson "girls". The fear was intense after these murders.

Sharon Tate's unborn baby, Paul, lived 20 minutes after she died, according to the coroner who did her autopsy. Imagine his sweet, innocent life draining away.

I hope the first face that Manson was forced to confront on the other side was Paul Polanski's face. Then I hope the devil himself came to take Manson away. May Manson rot forever.
