CBS' The Amazing Race Season 32

Yes I don't think the bro and sis team really added a lot to the show entertainment wise. I feel like the NFLers are getting the "odd ones out" edit now so it will be interesting to see if they go next - can the Alliance prevail? James and Will were so funny - i use to find them the most annoying in the early episodes and thought they were shown arguing alot earlier.
REally liked HUng and CHee from the first episode so would be happy for either HUng and CHee or Will and James to win it all!

I'm fine with bro and sis out. Strategically NFL played it exactly right, if they u-turned anyone else, they knew the beard bros would immediately u-turn them.

OMG the NFLers have got a hell of a lotta nerve to complain about the Top 3 not helping them at the Music task when for the entire race all they did was say 'hey lets work together (so you can give me the answers)' when they barely even started working on the task! All they did was take take take info, did they ever even once help anyone first by offering any info to someone when they didn't already get the answer from another team first?? There is no way they would have ever made it this far without all the other teams helping them with info because they would have never gotten tasks done where somebody else didn't tell them what to do. Especially at the 'sauerkraut' thing. He would have never, ever gotten that. And DeAngelo .... what a freaking sore loser! DeAngelo dear, you guys woulda never even made it outta the first few rounds without everyone else telling you how to finish the tasks. So glad you guys are o-u-t OUT!!!

As for the music task, OMG ..... that be it for me! When Phil was describing what they had to do I was like 'uh, what music'. Yeah, I coulda never done that one. And again .... READ.THE.CLUE people. Read the clue. I wonder how long they were at that music task before they finally figured out what they were doing wrong?

And grabbing that clue in that crazy traffic seemed a little dangerous. And running in the heels? Even though people apparently do that like every day there, in the context of the Race I would be afraid of breaking an ankle or something. :yikes:

So glad with the Top 3. Just let James and Will finish 3rd please . :P

I hate the way this season has gone and at this moment I have no interest in the finale.. The alliance business has ruined everything for me. You're not supposed to give away the answers! Geeeez. Very disappointed.

Glad the NFLers are out especially after D'Angelo's comments to Phil on the mat - I mean really don't you have football fans who are watching you - or is this what he is like normally (I don't watch NFL). What did he say something like "the money means nothing to me" it was about the race but then he didn't like the experience anyways?!?
I wasn't really into the alliance but glad they pushed out the NFLers - happy they got to top 3 and I love watching the show to see the countries mostly so not really invested in the winners - I guess I would pick Hung and Chee (go Chehu!) to win over the other teams.

I was rooting for the NFLers to get the music task because they weren't helped and they were actually so close a couple times, but after D'Angelo saying he didn't enjoy the race I'm not mad they're gone. I don't like alliances, but it is allowed so it's hard to get mad at the teams for doing it. I do hope they implement rules in the future to discourage it - esp. outright giving answers. Again, I don't hate anyone left nor do I overly love anyone left. I am rooting for Hung/Chee the most but am kinda expecting the beards to win. I'm glad Hung/Chee weren't eliminated this round - they were far back from the others but it was mostly because of their drivers so I'm happy they were able to catch up.

I like them the best (except when they explain their motivation to do the race where they sound unauthentic) but I think they are tortoise racers while the Beards and the Boyfriends are hares. Which means that, unless the next leg is designed to have some kind of trick that will catch them out while CheHu will be the ones to read the clue and get ahead, I expect one of those two teams to win.

I do hope they implement rules in the future to discourage it - esp. outright giving answers.
This entire leg seemed designed to do that. And yet the alliance still found a way to be alliance-y!

ETA someone up thread complained that the teams called Aparna and Eswar "the brother & sister" instead of learning their names, but all the teams refer to each other by their nicknames. They say "the boyfriends" instead of Will and James, for example.

I agree with others, D’Angelo was such a sore loser. I hope by now he’s come to appreciate at least some of his race experience.

Funny that team NFL came the closest on their first attempt. France was their undoing.

Glad they're gone after D'Angelo's unfortunate comment. Got any idea how many people would die to have the opportunity to do the race? I'm annoyed. I'd do the whole thing for free.

Re: the music task. Trinidad and Colombia were easy for me. I would have been lost with the other two. Then again, keep in mind that teams are at the task for a while, so they likely heard those pieces over and over again.

I'm getting vibes from a certain team. I don't know if I should say it because they're not my favorite. But based on how this team has been portrayed, from the very beginner, I'm getting winner or very verrrry close runner up vibes. You know, a season 2 close runners up situation. I feel like this team won't finish 3rd. I wish they did because I prefer the other two teams. Anyway, we'll see what happens. I just hope it doesn't come down to cab rides.

I knew Trinidad and the France piece. I also was confused when they were saying "they played in this order" when the clueMay specifically said that they had to put the flags in the order they appeared on the race. Made me question if I'd heard the clue correctly. But no, it was the racers being dumb. :D

I also don't understand why the NFL team decided to take the penalty. It would have taken less time to do every flag in every order than to sit out the time penalty!

you know if they had done the penalty right from the beginning they would have still been in the race. There was no point doing it at the time they did when the other teams left. They should have kept working until Phil came to see them - would have looked better on their part to the fans.
There was some team that kept taking penalities right from the start of a task if it looked too hard - it might have been on TAR Canada and it was so annoying - they did it twice and it kept them in the race both times.

You only get to crow about your prediction prowess if you name the winner beforehand.

Really? Because I would think that the odds of getting the right four in the right combination just at random would be pretty high. Look how long it took the rest of them to go through all of the possible combinations when there were three teams doing it and they thought they had two of those flags right.

I call first or a very very close second for them. Also, if they lose, I can almost guarantee you it's because they misread a clue. Or perhaps they'll win because another team misread a clue? That's been the theme for them this season, and since it didn't get them eliminated it may play a role in the finale. Pure speculation, of course.

I've been getting that feeling for several episodes now. Now that we have the final three, I call

1) Will and James
2) Riley and Maddison
3) Hung and Chee

I would be happy if my 2nd or 3rd place predictions were first, but to be honest I don't hate Will and James, so it's not as bad as previous season were I dreaded my prediction. I think in the past I've been happy to be wrong more often than I've been happy to be right. I don't remember what I predicted last season. All I remember is that once Tyler and Oakley were so happy to be assembling a drum set in the final task because someone's brother played the drums, I knew they were history and were going to lose. So happy Colin and Christie won (that was everything, I just love them lol).

I think it was actually Rob and Amber back when stunt casting for this show was in its infancy. IIRC they convinced a few competitors behind them to take time penalties as well which ensured there was always someone behind them. They arguably would have won their first season with this technique but for a plane reopening its doors for Joyce and Uchenna who crushed the Miami leg.

That was the meat task in Argentina. IIRC they had to eat like 4 pounds of meat. Back then (maybe still now) the 4 hour penalty started the moment another team quit the task or the moment the next team arrived at the roadblock. So, by being the first team to quit and convincing others to follow suit, they were guaranteed to not be last.

I remember being so mad about them being cast!

That's right. I knew someone did that somewhere - I am not a fan of Rob but I guess there is something to him to convince other people to take a penalty over doing the task.

The first episode I really liked Hung and Chee and didn't care much for anyone else. Eventually Will and James grew on me and I never really connected with the Beard Bros so I am hoping Hung and Chee for the win!

Odds are a time I don't like will win, but I'm so excited the finale will be in New Orleans. I'm surprised I didn't hear any leaks about filming when they were here last year.

Happy for Will & James! Their proposal at the end was very sweet. Good for Hung & Chee coming second, I really thought the beard bros would be the typical alpha male winners after they won the last three legs in a row.

This was my first season of TAR in a LONG time. I was a big fan back from S1 through the first all stars but then got busy with college/grad school and have only seen one of the Brenchel seasons in between. It’s made me nostalgic and now I have a lot of catching up to do since there probably won’t be any new seasons filmed for awhile!

I wasn't rooting for Will and James, but they totally dominated the final leg and deserved the win for preparing harder than any team I can ever remember. Way to do your homework, guys.

Congrats to Will and James! I know a lot of fans hated them but they didn't bother me that much and were definitely good racers. I was disappointed though that there was no suspense in the end. Maybe they should have had the music task as the final one instead of having it last week.

Yay for Will and James - they seem like a really sweet couple and I loved the proposal! Nicest moment after that was seeing the blondes call out "we love you" to them!
Definitely no cliffhanger though since they seemed to get so far ahead.
Beard bros got the bad luck with the taxi - how does a taxi driver in a major city not know where what to me seems like a major park - at least it sure looked fancy.

I loved the New Orleans tasks and seeing the city at night when it looks so pretty. Armstrong Park is not somewhere you want to be at night, so I'm glad the Beard Bros had a crew with them when they wandered off the path. The CCC bridge is the bridge that links my suburb with the city. :) That was a crazy road block, and I was scared Hung wouldn't be able to grab the clue on the first try. At the king cake challenge, they should have let them eat pieces of cake instead of beignets. I can't stand beignets because of how greasy they are sometimes and all the powdered sugar. I felt for Will with how much trouble he was having. I was  so hard when Chee thought the king cake baby would be heavy to carry.

I wasn't a fan of James for much of the season, but I thought the proposal was really sweet and got teary watching the end. So glad the Beard Bros came in third since they always seemed to work their way to the top.

Oh wow I didn't realize it was that long ago. That makes sense because I swore it looked like the old airport when they landed, but our new airport opened before the holidays last year. Since the city was decorated for the holidays I figured it had to be filmed in December.
