Bobrova talks Medvedeva and flowers

She was acting like "highschool mean girl", showing obvious resentment towards Zagitova's win.

Is there a Russian equivalent to this phenomena with a location and circumstance?

Honest curiosity. If there is a name for it, even better.

E.T does not need Med's flowers, she had her prize with all 3 of her girls on the World Podium this year, in the proper order, and nobody is killing each other either... :D

Behavior wise, of course there is, like every where. As far as the term "mean girls" in Russian language the film was translated «Дрянные девчонки» - "nasty girls".

Such "bullying" in Russian is called either "гнобить" (gnobit) which comes from Polish "gnobic" which means "to squish". The action itself can be described by a term "oполочиться против" - to gang up against, or more exact (from a military term) - to arm up against.

It can either be physical and verbal, or by ostracizing an individual, by various passive aggressive gestures (ignoring when spoken to, turning away, pretending you did not see this person when he/she is next to you) or by aggressive body language, spreading rumors, gossiping, and forming cliques that mirror this behavior against a person.

Bobrova can be a mean girl/bully when she wants just ask Maxim Trankov. She was very upset at the rise of Elena Ilinykh when she skated with Katsalapov. She was furious that Ilinykh got a chance to skate at the team competition and she could not congratulate her in Sochi when she won team and individual medals.
Yes, she is. That and more... But she is older and learned how to "speak well" in public and how to make things look better than it was.

Fortunately she off the skating radar... unless she finds another old controversy to volunteer and speak about, to keep her self relevant. :D

I always read that Julia hates Medvedeva, so not surprising she was supporting Zagitova at Olympics.
Julia never hated Medvedeva. It had to do more with Med's mother cleverly using Julia's difficulties and issues to advance her daughter into "priority". It's an old issue, none of it was posted on the english language sites, so no reason to now.

I don't see anything bad in those videos... I just see evidence that Medvedeva and Bobrova are friends... and maybe that They don't talk to Zagitova in this video...but I don't even see that Zagitova talked to Bobrova and was ignored as was mentioned by someone before.
There are more videos. Small straws weave a strong basket. Bobrova was a team captain, yet she demonstratively ignored Zag, left her behind, excluded her from groupings, turned her back on her, and used various forms of hostile body language, at all events after the Olympic FS. Some people who were present at/witnessed those events described it with one word "Bobrova organized a silent boycott". Not my words, those who saw it.

One of the reasons that Zagitova did not go to the Olympic closing ceremony, is because she did not want to walk alone and having others pretending she is none-entity. She was 15 years old, and took being ignored and looked away from very hard. When asked, Alina graciously said that she did not go because "no flag, no anthem". Short time later she locked herself in a hotel room and then said "I have no friends but my dog".

Where are the other videos? So far all I've seen is those 2, and there is nothing bad there.

And sorry, but who described it? The crazy people at sports.ru?

I am perfectly fine with you not seeing anything bad there.. those who chose not to, will not.. and i don't know any "crazy people at sports.ru", i know the site posts sports articles, like many other sites.

I didn't "choose to"...but it is just going to have to be better than that to serve as some sort of proof that Bobrova was ignoring Alina... and Alina wasn't even clearly talking to her as someone else claimed

If you're giving an opinion and interpretation based on a video, then you are "choosing" to see something that you see..

One thing is certain, if Bobrova's behavior did not become an issue, she would not be talking about it in Spring 2018, and a year and a half later in Summer 2019. She knows what she was doing.

Yes I am choosing not to invent or infer something about Bobrova based on 2 videos which do not mean anything by themselves  Excuse me for being logical

Though if you have other videos I would like to see them...

You can have a last word if you like. It does not change what happened and Bobrova's behavior after the olympics.
