This I agree with, despite my costume snarks. And sequence snarks. I could easily see someone able to listen to that day in and day out. I really wonder about the mental health of skaters who can listen to these sad, sorry songs. Of course, I guess having to listen to Joanne McLeod every day is good practice.

Those toe loops are hideous and are the exact definition of calling the jump pre-rotated in real time. It's not even questionable.

Have they ever called pre-rotations? Serious question. Certainly not back in the day of Russian lady dominance.

Not that I ever remember. But it's written into the rules for cases like his, it's so obvious in real-time and he and Donovan are amongst the worst offenders. Like a million times worse than what any Russian ever did.

I'm sorry, but talk about the panel looking the other way constantly - it's with Donovan more often than not. He got a major gift in the short at the Olympic qualifier which is what saved his Olympic spot in the end.

This program is so MEH too. Barely any choreography. Barely any of the personality he usually carries through everything.

Final Lutz not rotated, 3T wildly prerotated.

Which I find crazy too. That these kids can do triple and quad jumps but not not a half jump just seems crazy to me. Yes, I get they are doing it in combination but still.... Ilia does one of the best eulers and it almost looks odd because of how most of them look.
