2026 4CC - Men Free Skate

Dias Jirenbayev (Kazakhstan)
Elegy Op. 3 No. 1 (Morceaux de Fantaisie) by Sergei Rakhmaninov
Prelude in C sharp minor (Morceaux de Fantaisie) by Sergei Rakhmaninov

1 Axel + 2 Toe Loop - Lovely single, but oops!
3 Axel - double footed
3 Lutz + 3 Toe Loop
3 Flip - No Chris, he did not disguise that off axis landing well
Choreo Seq
Change Sit Spin L3
3 Flip + 2 Axle + 2 Axel
2 Loop
3 Salchow
Fly Change Combo Spin L2
Step Sequence L2
Change Combo Spin L3

Attempted some interpretation and seems like could be elegant if not having to concentrate so hard on the elements.

I like the way Dias moves, I dont know why but it reminds me of when the programs were less busy, I think I could explain it better if I hadn't already taken my melatonin chocolate

Stupid +REP. He didn't remember what he had done. Already had a +SEQ to start. Meh.

Good to see Douglas Gerber land 3A in both programs here! Does anyone know why he switched from NZL to AUS starting in the 2024-25 season? Does he have dual citizenship?

Douglas Gerber (Australia)
The Handmaiden by Chan-Wook Park

3 Axel + 2 Axel - UR?
3 Lutz + 3 Toe Loop
3 Flip
3 Loop
Step Sequence L3 - a bit slow and awkward
3 Flip + 2 Axel + 2 Toe Loop
3 Salchow
3 Lutz
Fly change combo spin L4
Choreo Seq
Change Combo Spin L4
Change Sit Spin L3

He stood up on all the jumps, spins were not bad. A bit awkward presentation-wise, but well done Douglas.

I wonder if he was aiming on getting the Worlds TES and that screwed him up on the sequence?

Well done to Douglas. I think that was a better skate than he had a nationals. He needs to get more speed and ice coverage in the 3A. Also needs to work on the music for the FS because his SP is pretty good. But clean program for 4CC is great for him.

Arghhhh another jump issue. He did 3A twice, 3T twice, and then of course 3Lz twice as well. Second one will not count.

Hyungyeom Kim (Korea)
Suite from Lawrence Of Arabia

Looks like a cat has got at his shirt with those dangly shredded bits.

4 Toe Loop - Good
3 Axel - loooong look at it beforehand
3 Lutz
3 Flip _ 3 Toe Loop
Fly Camel Spin L4
Step Sequence L3
3 Axel + 3 Toe Loop - skiddy landing
3 Lutz + 2 Axel + 2 Axel
3 Loop
Change Combo Spin L4
Choreo Seq
Fly Change Combo Spin L4

Best so far. Looked like hard work, but got it all done.

I cannot with these axel sequences. When I am dictator of the world, that's the second thing I'm banning after eulers.
I found out yesterday that there is something called the Euler Theorem. I'm still giggling about it.

I don't understand why Chris doesn't point out things like illegal elements when he's staring down a protocol screen 🤷‍♂️ he lost a good 6-7 points on that second Lutz.

Those toe loops are hideous and are the exact definition of calling the jump pre-rotated in real time. It's not even questionable.
