2025 Skate America Mens Free - Pope Dies Last

I wonder what bad breakup caused Jason to pick this for (probably) his last competitive free program. As much as I love Jason, I really don’t care for Say Something on him.

Took the dog to the dog park between pairs and ladies and threw her ball till she was tired. Then I took her to In & Out for a pup burger, plus gave her dry food. She’s fed, tired and happily ensconced between me and the couch arm. Delightfully warm!

And, yeah, Grassl’s skating. This program’s at its best with this anti-music section.

I meant nationals only. For this free skate, yes, I think someone can beat that 70 tes at nationals (even Liam almost beat it).
On a good day, some other guys can get good pcs.

Forgive me, but I feel like Jason has had zero signature long programs (except for Riverdance over a decade ago). It's been the same program each year skated to different music. He's so creative, I really don't understand it.

Honestly, Grassl’s costume is about as good as a figure skating cardinal costume could be. And the pope reveal is hilarious.

I don’t really like Grassl, but I do appreciate commitment to the bit. I much prefer this to him playing a child ballet prodigy.

The program becomes very flat without the technical elements, and Daniel loses interest in the performance when his jumps aren't working well.
