Unless they completely fall apart (including falling), there is absolutely ZERO chance of U.S. Figure Skating sending their 3-time and reigning World Champions to the Olympics as anything other than national champions.

Probably so. But I don't think they can win gold. And with the scores so far, I am starting to think that US Champions might be slipping away, too. Z/K and CarPon are right on their heels, nipping away. Just a feeling I have. I don't think it's a lock, at all.

C/B always look a little rough at the start of the season, but they’ve shown they know how to put in the work to peak when the time is right. Something catastrophic would have to happen for them to not win Nationals when they have a very strong chance at not just the Olympic podium but Olympic gold.

They would have to not show up for it to be more than zero and I’m not even going to put that into the universe.

If they didn't get beaten that year Madison was sick and looked like death warmed over all through the FD, they're probably not getting beaten this year.

Getting more annoyed at Shibs comeback, Olympic sponsorships and potential to take a spot from Z/K or C/P with a measly 3 competitions before the Olympics. Anxious to see them at NHK; can’t say I am rooting for them.
