Hensen/Lickers have had some of the most interesting free dances each of the last four seasons. Glad they're starting to get more attention.

Didn't H/L turn senior in 2021?I love this team. For a relatively new team to seniors they more than hold their own (even if the judges are sleeping on them). Their potential excites me.
Facts, schmactsDidn't H/L turn senior in 2021?
I did say relatively new which I maintain is accurate given all the dinosaurs still competing so you should give me this one
So which of the four teams who skate before the flood will be the lucky one to make the cut?
(My gut is saying Wang/Liu, even though my mind tells me it should be whichever of the other three skates the best on the day.)
Wooops of course - I know they are with Hurtado I assumed she was at IAM... Well then they might not help them, unless Hurtado has some influence (my impression is she might have a little at times, I mean after all V/K made the podium at Skate to Milano)Val/Kazimov aren't an IAM team - they're with Hurtado & Khaliavin's SK school in Madrid.
Wang/Liu's RD has been a problem for them all season & not scored as well as their FD, where they've been able to either maintain or improve their position. I'll be really surprised if they make the FD in Milano-Cortina.
Even if Les Gacs do score lower than they have been with their Prince RD, I'm hard-pressed to think they're going to score THAT much lower and not make the FD. Of course, we all saw what happened in Boston last year and in Montreal the year before, so it stands to reason there will be at least one higher-ranked team that doesn't make the FD.
Is there a link that isn't behind a paywall? Or can someone quote some highlights? An article with Tessa and Scott. It's a fluff piece but interesting.

She's engaged to Pierre Souquet-Basiege. He competed for France, and he coaches now at her rink.Does anyone know what Lorraine McNamara is doing? Is she still dating Gordon Green (Caroline's brother) I have seen on the internet that her former partner Quinn Carpenter is working at the Wheaton Ice Arena.

I think there's a link in Tessa and Scott's thread in the trash canIs there a link that isn't behind a paywall? Or can someone quote some highlights?
Sorry it's supposed to be a gift link. I can't figure out why it's not working. Is there a link that isn't behind a paywall? Or can someone quote some highlights?

The last time I spoke with Lorraine was a year or so ago, and she was attending the University of Maryland. I believe she was in a double science major - not sure of the specifics.I’m not sure but she still posts a lot from the rink.
It said it had expired, but the link Alilou pointed out in the other thread worked so I've read it now! Thanks for posting.Sorry it's supposed to be a gift link. I can't figure out why it's not working.

Hurtado left IAM before it was even IAM, Diaz was the one who stayed. It's like he got Montreal in the "divorce" and she got Spain (with a multi-year sojourn in Russia).Wooops of course - I know they are with Hurtado I assumed she was at IAM... I don't think they are screens. Please tell me those screens? with all the striped colours aren´t supposed to be like this? It´s giving me a migrane and I assume it must be 10x worse for the audience and skaters..
Hope this is the caseIf I had to guess, I think the striped colors look like a test pattern for the now ever-popular LED screens?
Official practices do not start until Jan 31.
Neither competitors not audience were inside the venue yesterday, so none of them would have been getting migraines from it.
