I'm not sure if I will be there in the end. My mom passed away suddenly.

I know she'd want me to go, and all I would do would be sitting at home upset, but it just feels odd doing something frivolous (we won't be having a service or anything for a bit).

Shuttles will run continuously starting 30 minutes before the first practice session and until 60 minutes after the last competitive event. There are multiple shuttle buses running at all times of day and the drive to and back from The Skating Club of Boston is short. We recommend allowing at least 30 minutes for the shuttle trip to and from The Skating Club of Boston in advance of all competitive events due to anticipated traffic.

Oh no! I am so sorry. Taking care of yourself is not frivolous and includes doing something to take your mind off of it, however temporary that might be. And doing something she would want you to do too. Go with what feels right!

Someone at SCOB must be reading FSU because they are realizing that their internal concessions cannot handle the volume of food that is being required of the crowds. They took recommendation that they employ external food truck options. Trying to figure out where they will park though:

"During breaks in the performances on Saturday and Sunday, there will be local food trucks stationed outside the front of the arena by the Fan Fest. An empty water bottle may be brought into the facility and refill stations are available on the concourse"
