2022 U.S. Championship Series Athlete & Coach Handbook: https://www.usfigureskating.org/sit...ChampionshipSeries_Handbook_September2021.pdf
Excerpt:
At the end of each Championship Series competition, all competition results will be uploaded to
EMS by the chief accountant as soon as possible following the competition’s conclusion. Each
skater’s total score (see above) is transmitted to the Series Standings. Only a skater’s current
highest total score is officially recorded. If a skater finishes a competition and beats their
previous high score, the score will be updated. If a skater competes but does not beat their
current high score, the previous score stands.
Athletes may compete a maximum of two times in the series, with only their highest score
counting toward the series ranking and advancement.
The Championship Series standings will be available for viewing in EMS. The standings will
display a national rank for all disciplines. Singles events will also display a sectional ranking.

For those planning to watch Ice Dance from Blaine on Peacock, here's a head's up. I'm currently watching the Jr free dance on Peacock and that appears to be live, having started at the time given on the event schedule. This evening's Senior RD, however, is listed on Peacock to start at 10:30 pm Mtn Time, but the event schedule has it starting at 5:30 pm Central. Don't know if Peacock isn't airing that live or if I'm not understanding something.

ETA: I'm hoping it's just an error on the Peacock site and it will really start at the right time (4:30 Mtn).

Looking forward to Starr Andrews tomorrow and Friday. I’m guessing that this is her big prep for Sr G-P France in late-Nov, as I don’t see her listed yet on a Challenger or Sr-B. (Of course we already saw her at the Autumn Classic in Canada, where she tried her 3-axel!)

Well that makes no sense :shuffle: since 5:30 central should be 4:30 Mtn. I'm in ET so I'm tuning in about 6:25 p.m. I've generally found the streaming on Peacock to be ok but the website and times are very confusing. Thanks for the heads up!

I haven't been paying attention. Do skaters still need to hit a minimum score to qualify?

Top 4:
1 Starr Andrews, Los Angeles FSC 70.10 (3T+3T, 2A, 3Lo, L4 on all spins) - looked very relaxed today; pretty sure this was her personal best (domestic) score
2 Maxine Marie Bautista, DuPage FSC 58.84 (3T+2T, 2A, 3Loq, L4 on steps & 2 spins)
3 Finley Hawk, ISC of Indianapolis 58.13 (3Lz+2T, 3F, 2A, L4 on all spins)
4 Wren Warne-Jacobsen, Go4Gold Shakopee Skating Academy 50.47 (3S, 3T+2T, 1A, all L4s)

Starr won with total score 177+ ! Tried the 3-axel but marked as 2-axel.
Andrews landed 2 very good double Axels in her FS and 3S+2T at the end but had a rough jumping day otherwise (ditto for Bautista, whose FS I really like, who finished 4th overall).

Wren Warne-Jacobsen won the bronze & skated/performed VERY well to (IIRC) Saint-Saens' Samson & Delilah and deserved to win the FS.

Finley Hawk won the silver (haven't watched her FS yet).

ETA that I also want to make the time to watch the top 2 Junior women (Elsa Cheng 92.37 FS/154.07 & Hannah Lofton 94.20 FS/150.58) and definitely the Junior man, Taira Shinohara (121.03 FS with 6 of 7 triples clean/175.84), who qualified for the ISP last season as a Novice.

Is there a place to see who has registered for each of these comps or is that info available on a comp by comp basis, when they put up start orders?

Comp by comp basis, when start orders go up. If you go to the individual event pages (via Fan Zone), some may have a list of practice groups, which would list skaters' names.

Series standings- (nothing here yet)
The standings are there from Blaine, MN but you have to have a USFS membership to see this section, AFAIK. I was thinking about reviving my blog and compiling the top skaters/scores at each level (will post a link here if I do).

Today in Henderson, NV: Juvenile Girls Groups A-C, Intermediate Men SP, Juvenile Boys FS, Novice Men SP - streaming for free here (on demand available afterwards): https://usfigureskatingfanzone.com/watch/

Just watched Wong/Weirens in Junior pairs. They are a mirror pair and I thought it was neat that their side by side spins went both ways. I know that’s a level feature in IJS but it was interesting to see them both spin both directions.
