Brezina and Bychenko will retire at the end of the season. That is what was stated on NBC during the Olympics

Thanks, yes I'd heard Brezina supposed to be retiring at the end of this season. He'd planned to retire previously but kept going longer. He wanted to attend Euros in Czech Republic, which he got to do last year. And now his final Olympics. :)

With Uno's foot problem, I feel like this championship is Nathan's.... as long as he skates clean and doesn't blow it in the short. And what's this about bringing the wrong CD from his sister's twitter account? I guess he had a back up CD somewhere? His sister looks a lot like him. Well, time to catch some sleep before waking up for the men's SP. Go Nathan, Max & Vincent!!

Shoma is never predictable prior to a competition.
Jin is underestimated prior to every major international he enters.
Vincent is hungry.
It's the men.

Go for it, Nathan!

On the first day of practice, Nathan brought the cd with last year’s FS music on it. So he didn’t have his music that day and had to bring it with him the next day.

Hoping to see Nathan put together his two best programs of the season! Go Nathan!! :cheer2::cheer2:

I'm trying not to get my hopes up after what happened at the Olympics, but I so want Nathan to crush it and get his first World's title. I too am happy he is staying with Raf.

:cheer: His jump landings weren't the best today but he held on to 4Lz+3T, 4F & 3A - 101.94 - into 1st with 3 left!

ETA that he won the SP:

1 Q Nathan CHEN USA 101.94 57.51 44.43 8.82 8.75 8.93 8.89 9.04 0.00 #34

I love that SP for him and will be sad to see it go.
Oh my Gosh, me too. Actually downloaded the song which I had never heard until this SP in the early season. Really hope he continues to collaborate with Shae because I think she knows how to draw out his personality and highlight his non-jumping skills. At least she certainly has in Nemesis.

I hope he works with Shae again too. I like more modern/contemporary programs for him.
