I'm no teknik on this, so maybe someone else knows...every team I looked at on the protocol (went down about 7 or 8 spots) got some 'votes' for either a violation of choreo restrictions or music restrictions, or both - anyone know why? Of course, it takes a majority of the panel to agree so no deductions were taken (usually only 1 or 2 judges...wonder if it was the same two for each team). I'm thinking the music deduction would have to do with the rhythm matching the steps, but the choreo restrictions were...?
Just a little excerpt from the GOE deduction chart:
Violation of choreography restrictions:
Short Dance: as per Rule 709, para 1.d) (pattern), g) (separations), h) (stops) and i) (touching the ice with hand(s), (except for Hip Hop and does not meet the definition of a Fall)
). I'm thinking the music deduction would have to do with the rhythm matching the steps, but the choreo restrictions were...?
. I'm not laughing at you at all and I respect your opinion, I just think it's funny given the situation of some teams pushing rules a bit with some of their music choices.

I dunno, maybe cause Ive heard Paradise like 1000 times that maybe I don't find it that interesting anymore. LOVE LOVE LOVE them but the music for me left me a bit uninspired. Other than that, Now I want to be a dancer!!!!!!
